| Would it be bossy and rude...... Austin has a apt at the groomers today. I just found a new shampoo that seems to work well for his skin and hair I very excited about it. Would it be rude and disrespectful to ask the groomer to use the shampoo I have already been using for him? I would hate to come across as bossy. |

| I say absolutly not. I would put some in a small bottle and tell her to use that shampoo on your baby. I would hope that would not make her mad! This is the shampoo that your baby's skin is used to. It's really not a big deal. If she says no than take your dog and find another groomer! Good luck. Update us as to how yor baby did. We would love to see a picture of your baby with a new haircut. Good luck!

| Of course not your paying for the grooming and I know a lot of people who make their groomers use their preferred shampoo. Just by the fact your asking this question shows your NOT bossy or rude |

| By you doing that, you're actually saving the groomer a little bit of money, since they have to buy their shampoos. They are usually more than happy to do what you ask them to do. |

| I did that once when I started using Minksheen years ago and the groomer told me NO she used only what she uses and does not use client's shampoo, ever. I forget what the reason was but she did have one. |

| Go for it. If a groomer ever told me that they would not use a shampoo that I provide, there are plenty of other groomers in the world. For allergy issues alone it should always be an option. I happen to hate the way some shampoos smell and I would not put some of the stuff out now on Ellie...

| He looks like someone's pet now. The groomers where cool. I just really didn't want to come across as "one of those dog owners". But she acted like it was the most normal thing. As a first time dog owner it was empowering to know I have rights when making decisions that is best for my baby. lol Thank you for the responses. |

| I used to take Hot Rod's medicated shampoo and conditioner to the groomers when he used to go. They advertised that if you wanted to use your shampoo to bring it with you. I would just make sure the bottles are marked so you will get them back.
