Get the result of my search for a discrete carrier So I've been searching for a discrete carrier for about a month now and just recently ordered one. My carrier should be here tomorrow and it just came to me that others are also looking for a carrier too and might have use of my search. So I'm posting all of the "good deals" that I found when I was searching, shipping NOT included (since shipping varies). Please note that I am in no way associated with any of these merchants and that I have no personal experience with any of them except for one. ALSO some sale items are not refundable, please read the warnings. Kwigy-bo carriers Some of the best deals for kwigy-bo - I was contemplating the Pamela and this is the best price I've seen for Kwigy-bo in general Used London Ebay Item - Used but $50 bidding, $70 buy with free shipping (member is 100% positive) Kwigy-bo Sales - from Kwigy-bo themselves. $110 Rhineston London and $25 Kai Bag. SMALL Alex Denim - sale item, only comes in small. Best deal for small Alex. Petote Genevieve & 1 Metro- this is the lowest price I've seen for a Petote Genevieve. The only reson I did not get this is because it was a bit big. Comes in many colors, also 1 Metro in blue. Petfly City Girl Tote - best price I've seen for them. They look pretty nice and most places were sold out. Trixie & Peanut Cloth Tote - cloth but on the cheaper end. Saratoga Tote - looks ok Gramercy Tote - I ordered this one. If you want to wait, I should be getting mine tomorrow so I can give a better review on this carrier. I can also take pictures if anyone wants. So there you go. I hope this will help those looking for a new carrier and a deal Feel free to post sites that feature the same items but at a better price. I'll edit it when possible.

Thanks for posting this! I had the Genevieve, but it was so hugeee! My four pounder disappeared in there LOL. It looked like a suit case. Kwigy-Bo and Petflys are the best and have such quality. So which one did you get?

Hi! Yes the Genevieve did look big, I'm glad I didn't get it. Although my maybe 6 pounder might be a better fit, lol. I purchased the last one from Trixie & Peanut. Hopefully it will look as good as the picture. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll review it if anyone is thinking about getting one too.

Thanks for all the info. I've been researching too, so I'd love to hear what you think about the one you're getting and see pics if you get a chance. Thanks!

I'll be sure to get some pictures by tomorrow night for you. If I don't like the carrier, I'll most likely get another one. It's a toss up between the Alex Denim or the Pamela, although hopefully I won't have to. I'd love to know what you decide upon too.

Thor's Human Donating Member | Thanks for posting this info! I recently got Thor an Argo airline-approved bag (smallest size) and I really like it. It's the only bag I've seen that Thor is not swimming in. It's the perfect size. I don't know how discreet it is since it has a huge orange logo on it, and it's not really designed to hide the fact that it's a dog carrier. Anyway, I'm looking forward to flying somewhere with Thor! I think he'd like Mexico or Hawaii. Or maybe a little poker in Vegas. I have another bag (not sure of the brand) that no one would ever guess is a dog carrier. Even when I've showed people the bag, they can't tell if Thor is in it or not. That's my grocery / shoe store bag. The only thing is that the straps sort of slide off my shoulder, which is annoying. Anyway, I'll definitely check out the links you posted, thanks again.

Just got back from work and took some pictures but I have to leave for a birthday dinner so I'll post when I come back. I actually really like this carrier. There are some drawbacks but I'll get into that later. Be back in a few hours.

Here are some general pictures of the bag. Please excuse the quality of the pictures. I do not own an actual camera so all pictures were taken on my phone. The first picture shows the pad and the bottom plastic that goes underneath the pad. Not so thrill about that one. It doesn't really fit the bag all that well and has nothing to secure it to the bag itself. The last picture shows how roomy it is. I really like this size for Kaiser. He is currently 4.8 lbs and is more short and compact. He can lay down and still have some space. From the measurement, I WOULD NOT get a small Kwigy-bo Alex carrier for Kaiser. It would be too snug. The Pamela seems fine though.

Review cont. The first 2 pictures show the bag against my frame. I'm roughly 5'5-5'6 and 130 lbs. I think it looks fine for me. The only thing I do not like is the handle. One of the reason I went for this bag was because the shoulder strap looked alot more comfortable than some of the other carriers plus it was advertised as adjustable. Unfortunately this is the most it will go. I would have preferred a little more room for the handle but this is doable. The last 2 pictures just shows Kaiser hanging out in his new bag! Final thoughts: It seems to be a nice bag, although I think that the Kwigy-bo carriers would have been of a better quality. But I like the size and the plain-ness. The Pamela seems a bit too fancy for my taste, this bag on the other hand seems to go well with casual wear. All in all, I give it a thumbs up and I'm glad I went with this bag.

I just bought two AWESOME bags from United K9's. I got the black knot and the red one. I took them to a shoe repair to have the sides sewn shut so chloe couldnt pop her head out in the grocery store . I love love love these bags... and they were only 60$ each (repair and all!!). here is what they look like

Since we're doing carrier reviews, I purchased the Genevieve Petote. But I had to send it back because it was huge!!!! My four pounder Gigi(yes, I know she is not a yorkie but a maltese) disappeared in there! The bag would tilt when she moved on either end. When she poked her head out all the weight shifted to that end and she would've just slid right out if I wasn't holding it up. LOL When I walked around with it, it reminded me of a suit case. Other than that, I really, really liked it as a carrier, if only it was smaller. Gigi liked it very much and loved the chin rest. Petote has some of the finest quality bags and you can tell that they really cater to the dog's and owner's comfort. Here's some pictures: 1. Against my frame, I'm 5 "2, 113 pounds. 2. The bag and size compared to my dog. The red line is about the size of my Gigi's body. She is four pounds. 3. It collasped. LOL Gigi is giving me that "Mommy, help me!" look. 4. The bag looks smaller next to her for some reason.

By the way, Gigi is absolutely gorgeous! And it's amazing how you're able to keep her coat and eyes so white! | |

I love ARGO. There are a few styles of carriers of theirs I'd love to get for a good price and I will once I can find a deal. LOL. I hated the colour (they only had 2 to choose from), but loved the ARGO I picked up a while back from Costco for just under $10. I saw it selling at a local store recently for $99 (online, seen for around $50). A boutique store told me Costco had it for way lower than their actual cost and they had complained to the company, their supplier. It was apparently a one-time deal with the big guys. Now I'm hoping to run into more of that. My only regret is that I didn't buy a ton more of the same thing as the velcro has been causing the one corner/side of the bag to fray a little. LOVE the double mesh and plenty of ventilation (on both sides, front and top). The double meshing really does a great job of making it perfectly viewable from the inside out but more difficult for the outside to look in.

I also like it because there are little pouches for your wallet and tickets, etc, so you don't need to carry a separate bag for your stuff.
