| Thor's Human Donating Member | If you get a chance, can you post what the sweaters cost on average? I think a lot of them are really cute. It doesn't look like they are cut for male equipment tho.

| Thanks for posting, I haven't thought about carriers in a while and was just realizing how I should buy another one. LOL I have the large Saratoga Pet Carrier, I'm not thrilled about it's looks or style but it was the only option I could find that didn't look like a carrier. I actually found it through one of the YT members here. See, you all instigate me spending money

| THanks for sharing your research! I've been looking for a discrete carrier and this thread really helps.

| Well i'll go ahead and put my 2 cents in... I also bought a "carrier" but mine was... around $15. I bought a Baby bag and i put a baby blanket at the bottom of it and it fits my 8lb girl :O. Admitingly it doest have that doggie head hole but it works perfectly! And it has the pockets to put her leash and doggie bags and water and anything else i can find to put in there. Works wonders! Just FYI for those of you not looking to spend a lot of money :P

| I bought the black and white City Girl tote in April but I paid $120 for it!! Man, you found a great deal!! I LOVE that bag and Pixel does too! The only thing I need to warn you about and don't like is that it loses its shape to an extent. Right now it's so floppy it caves in on Pixel's head. I contacted Pet Flys though and they told me to put something in it (big box or something) for awhile to bring the shape back. I haven't tried it yet, but I really hope it works! |

| I ended up getting creative. I made Frankie's discreet bag from a pattern for a tote bag from simplicity. I put plastic mesh screening on the sides for ventilation. Zips up/he goes in top. Sherpa pad inside for comfort I made it using quilted fabric. Put a back pocket for my cell phone and a side pocket for his leash and my wallet. Reinforced the bottom inside with the plastic mesh. Carry straps made to fit me over the shoulder. This bag is sooo confortable for me and him. Fully washable, just throw it in. I'm not looking to sell them, but if someone can sew...it's a great alternative to spending lots. It looks really good/designer-like. Looks like those wxpensive quilted bags. I have it jazzed up with contrasting fabric for the handles and pockets, and have giant buttons/loops for the accessory closures. Cost me about 30 bucks to make.

| I'd like to see the bag you came up with. Can you post a picture? Which pattern # did you use? Quote:
