There's a huge red flag. What was the temp in TN on Saturday? Cause here it was in the upper 80's. Excessive panting and drooling can cause dehydration. It could've certainly started then...and once it begins it's vital (obviously) that you get them rehydrated. Leaving him alone again Saturday night was not a good idea. I think she was totally irresponsible. Personally I can't imagine getting a new puppy and NOT want to stay home with him the entire weekend. Poor baby.

| That poor little guy. What a way to die. It's horrible. How sad, what were they thinking. I suspect it was the husband that didn't want the baby in the first place. So he was the one who put that poor baby in the garage. This a such a sad sad story. My heart breaks for that baby. Even if it survived can you imagine the life he would have had in front of him? unreal

| Why in the world did this woman want a dog? She was never home. I hate to stay this but he is better off where he is now than living in that neglected uncaring situation for any longer than he did. R.I.P. litte one and be happy once again with your new friends at Rainbow bridge. I hope and pray that no other animal get's into her hands, ever.! |

| It's not just yorkies, in my book, all breeds of dogs are special. They also all (dogs) need care and handling. |

| Off course you are right all animals, not just dogs do need all the love and care they deserve. I did not mean just Yorkies and that did not come out the way I meant it. It is just my experience that Yorkies does not do well left on their own. They need their people close to them more than some other breeds do. I personally think that it is irresponsible in any case to leave any new puppy no matter what breed on their own the first couple of days. They sould be closely monitored. |

| That is so sad. Those people should be left in a car in the heat. I didn't want to go to bed the first few nights we got him much less leave him alone by himself.

| This is so heartbreaking. I can't believe anyone would get a puppy and neglect it and subject it to heat and cold. It just doesn't make sense! I feel so terribly sad for what that poor pup had to go through and so sorry that owner didn't bring him back to the breeder sooner, so she could have saved him. Poor sweet baby.
