| Bows Hello Everyone!! Since, I'm in the process of getting my new baby I've been doing a lot of research on various sites and this forum has been really helpful, especially with where to find clothes for your yorkie. But I was wondering, since I'm getting a boy can I still put bows on him; or do bows only go on girls. I'm just a little curious because I'm not exactly sure on what's appropriate and what's not. Also, tell me what yall think about the name Payton for a boy. I wanted this name when I thought I was getting a girl, then I realized that there is a basketball player whose name is Gary Payton(I think) and then I thought I can still use that for my little boy. Let me know what yall think! Thanks!!!! |

| First I was thinking about naming my little girl pup Payton as well, my husband prefered Reagan though. I really like the name for a boy or girl. To tell you the truth I've heard of more boy Paytons than girl Paytons, I went to school with a boy Peyton(with an "e" instead of "a"). About the bows, of course you can put bows on a boy if you want. I think its really what you are comfortable with. And if you want you can check around on the web and find bows that are geared more towards boys. They will come with sports thems or maybe cars. I make my own bows and I made a bow the other day that I really felt would be more appropriate on a boy rather that a girl, although my girl's still going to wear it. You can even search around on here there have been several sites mentioned that have bows for boys. Of course you could even put a girly pink bow on him if you want its your dog and your choice, do what you want. When you get him you better post pics of him as well, otherwise you'll have a lot of unhappy members, including me.

| Yea boys can wear boys. I have a girl and a boy and bought some great bows from Lawdogbows thery have athread in yorkie products and reviews. They had some real cute ones with snowmen and pumpkins and other things on them. I put boyish bows on Chachi. I know you can also get sport team bows also.

| Yes! Boys can wear bows! My husband didn't like the idea at first but he's come around now. Here's a couple of Brutus in his bows. Oh and I love the name Payton! Good luck and congrats!

| Thank you chachi, I have tried to do something different once and a while to be somewhat creative. I will let you know when they are on my site. I still have several designs I want to add as I have new inserts to put in the bows for the boys and some more for the girls, too. I don't want to leave anyone out. I will try to have them ready by Friday, since I have to pick up Maevie Thrus. at the airport.
