First I was thinking about naming my little girl pup Payton as well, my husband prefered Reagan though. I really like the name for a boy or girl. To tell you the truth I've heard of more boy Paytons than girl Paytons, I went to school with a boy Peyton(with an "e" instead of "a").
About the bows, of course you can put bows on a boy if you want. I think its really what you are comfortable with. And if you want you can check around on the web and find bows that are geared more towards boys. They will come with sports thems or maybe cars. I make my own bows and I made a bow the other day that I really felt would be more appropriate on a boy rather that a girl, although my girl's still going to wear it. You can even search around on here there have been several sites mentioned that have bows for boys. Of course you could even put a girly pink bow on him if you want its your dog and your choice, do what you want.
When you get him you better post pics of him as well, otherwise you'll have a lot of unhappy members, including me.
