| Do you ever get bossed around? I was standing in the kitchen last night cuddling Colby Tate when he heard something he needed to go investigate. He started his squirmy wiggling he does when he wants down, and I was scolding him not to do that because it's dangerous and scares mommy. He stopped wiggling, looked me right in the eye and barked (well it was really more of a 'yip' lol). Then he looked down at the floor for a few seconds. He looked back at me, yipped again, then looked down at the floor. The third time he looked at me, he sighed, and put every bit of his 2 1/2 pounds into one big (little) YIP. Then he looked at the floor and bobbed his head a couple of times. The little stinker was ORDERING me to put him down!!! I was laughing so hard, and I just wanted to give his cute little face kisses, but he wouldn't have it. When I finally sat him on the floor, he looked up at me, tossed his head and gave a tiny little snort like he was saying 'guess I told you who was boss". Then he strolled off to check things out. OMG he is going to be such a character! Do any of you ever get bossed around by your yorkies?

| Oh, he's going to be a smart one, isn't he. Gracie Ruth was a back talker. I'd scold her and she'd sass right back with a woof-woof complete with an attitude nose in the air. She even went so far as to one time walk away from me swishing her bum and tossing her head back and forth, stopped, looked back at me over her shoulder and woofed a 'Whatever' at me. Of course her eyes nearly popped out of her head when I snatched her up and growled at her. Can you imagine what he might have been thinking since it took him so many tries to get you to understand. "Poor Momma, she's not as smart as me. I have to be patient and try extra hard to get her to understand what I want." Gotta love 'em, they do the cutest things.

| yep bree is sassy too and always has been. she sounds like a bird chirping when she makes her sassy noises. and at times when i scolded her and told her quiet, like teresa said, she will turn her back to me, look at me over her shoulder, stick her nose up in the air and whip her head back forward again while making grumbling/growling noises really, it takes all i have to stay serious and not crack up

| That is definitely a Queen Chloe thing to do Mr. Colby Tate! 100%! Chloe does all the things mentioned above. She's definitely the ruler of our house and she is NOT afraid to let you know. She sasses back, sighs the biggest, saddest sighs, she'll tell me off. She "meows" JUST like a cat when she's really POd it's hilarious. My poor little brat - such a hard life she leads .

| What a funny story! How cute. Tater is also demanding. He has this short raspy woof when he wants something. I will hear it and look over and he will do it again and actually stomps his feet along with it! |

| As small as he is Colby Tate has the true personality of a Yorkie These stinker's are so bossy, as you are finding out. Buddy does many things to try and be head of the household but the one that happens everyday is to hit me in the back of the leg while I'm walking with his silly rubber clown so I will stop what I'm doing and drop to my knees and play with him. 98% of the time I do If I don't he adds a grunt to his actions because he's not getting his way. |

| Lucy loves to back-chat, too - she always has to have the last word / ruff. Gotta love her for it, though.

| Yep, Sophie does this too. But I notice the bark is different dependent on who she is dealing with. If it is my DH teasing/playing with her, her bark sounds more like a "you wanna take this outside big guy?" But if it is me scolding her or telling her "no", the bark sounds more like a "ok Mommy. I don't really wanna listen, but I will". It's a hoot! |
