i've been away a few times over a weekends it hurts leaving them but u got 2 try & make every one happy i.e the husband he thinks i spend 2 much time with them

so getting away 4 the odd weekend is ok i guess

In the five years that I have had Buddy I have only been away from
him for 10 nights. I went to Italy on vacation. I petted every Yorkie
I saw there missing him so much.
Oh once again when he was hospitalized for nutering and in the
hospital for 4days. So that's 15 nights in the past 5 years.

We've been away from Tatum overnight many times but she always stays with my MIL when we're gone so she thinks that's just a big party!! For the first year of her life, we were living at my MIL's while our house was being built so she just loves to stay there. I'm so lucky to have such a good puppy-sitter!

Actually, my girls go for a sleep over a "grandma's" (my husband's parents) almost once a week!

Their dog passed away in October (a Shi Tzu) and they live right across the street from my husband's work. So the days they can't come to work with me, the go to "work" with my husband and spend their day being spoiled by grandma. Recently, because work has been a madhouse for me, my two yorkies have been sleeping over there once in a while. My in-laws love having them and are always trying to steel them from me!

Soon they will be getting their own yorkie!

We go on vacation once a yr for two weeks. I really miss Chachi and Jewels when we are gone but I think they just sleep. Other than that sometimes we take a day trip to an amusement park.

I've had Ben for 9 months and have only been away from him for 1 night and that was just this past weekend. We went for an overnight stay in Jersey and we left Ben with my boyfriends sister and husband. They have 2 kids and a min pin and Ben loved it! He got to play with the kids and the other dog and he got to run around outside because they have a fenced in back yard. Ben dosent get to do that much when he is with us because we live in an apartment. I was worried that he would forget me and not know who I was, lol. I was wrong of course. I called at night to see if everything was okay and of course it was! It will be fine, like everyone else said, it will be worse for you!
