Thanks for all your comments Stay posted Life is never dull with Alfie around |
Brilliant thread.. Alfie sounds like a right charachter. My Alfie is a bit of wild one too despite the socialisation from day one he does not like kids too much unless he knows them really well and then he is a pussycat!:D |
It has been 24 hours, and I'm patiently waiting for another chapter of the Alfie story. I love Paddy and Alfie because they are not "perfect" dogs. My last dog Beau was a lab mix. I found him in the country where someone had dumped him. He was skin and bones, covered in fleas and had mange. He had so many bad behavior issues but I could never give him away because I was afraid they would mistreat him. I had him for 10 years and there was never a dull day with Beau around. I loved that dumb mutt. Anyway, I want to hear more about Alfie. |
Valerie, I have started an Alfie thread for all Alfies although I did put another bit on Paddy and Alfie if you go back through the pages if you want a bit more of the story All future stories will be on Alfie thread and hopefully a diary with other Alfies I will update to this thread so please post and I will respond Chat soon |
Come on then Valerie, we want a story of Beau |
You should write a book. This is refreshing. |
I am writing a book On here for all to share Love G |
Thanx for sharing:D |
Today has been a challenge Yesterday Alfie picked up next door neighbours chihuhaus like a rag doll He thought they were rats |
There are seven of these little people all yapping at him through the fence Alfie was on a mission No more said than done Alfie was through fence and had one by the neck |
The Girls next door have proceeded to repair their fence which had gaping holes in it They asked me to help which I did They did not realise until I pointed out the deeds that that fence is their responsibility They have moaned about the fence and not repaired it A local policeman arrived and explained as it their fence it is their job to keep my dog out ooo we are now back on talking terms |
Alfie tasted some blood Little rotter I am not pleased although I cannot blame him |
I helped with saws and screwguns and loads of bits the girls couldn,t use em The younger one remarked " I need a good woman" I replied "Good man here" they have made my good ladies life a misery today I had them eating from my hand Alfie is ok I heard some squeeking from next door turned out that a big male was trying it on with a baby male Alfie was barking mad, he didn,t like the sound Perhaps they should try out a yorkie instead of rats |
The fence is now up Alfie is calm he is on my lap chewing a shmacko all is well |
I feel bad for their dog but you warned them about Alfie. It was their responsibility to make sure he couldn't get at them. Poor Alfie. I don't think he made any new friends there. |
