| I'm so upset. Need to talk about this. So this Sunday I was at my parents house, and my boyfriend went outside to get something from the car, but shortly came back in and yelled for me to come out. When I got outside, I saw a tiny puff ball of white fur in the distance so I ran down the driveway toward it. It was a teeny tiny s**tzu female laying all curled up in a pile of leaves. She was in very rough shape. It looked like someone had taken a pair of clippers and tried to shave her, but only got certain parts so she looked patchy all over. She had an obvious skin condition and her tongue was white as a cotton ball. I started bawling my eyes out as soon as I saw her. I'm pretty sure someone dropped her off. She couldn't have weighed more than 2lbs and might have been pregnant. My dad came out after me and yelled at me for getting so close to her, because there was something obviously wrong with her. But I couldn't help it. So I sat on the ground like 2 feet away and talked to her for like a half hour. She was so scared it broke my heart. My boyfriend got her some food and water and we got her to eat. We called the humane society and they said they couldn't come to get her until this morning. So I went to go get my parents big dog cage to try to coax her in but when I came outside she was gone. I looked all over for her with no luck. I'm so upset, I cannot stop thinking about her, and I'm literally heart broken because she was SOOOO helpless. I feel like I shouldn't have left her for a second, and I can't stop wondering where she is!! I just wanted to get her some help and even take care of her myself if I could, since whoever owned her before obviously didn't. Everyone in my family thinks I'm crazy for being so upset but I can't help it. It's like she looked at me with these eyes and now I'm all tore up. I really just needed to tell this story, hopefully because I think most of you know what I'm talking about because you love dogs as much as me. How could someone do this to her!?! |

| There are some really sick people out there. Do you think that maybe someone else picked her up? It doesn't sound like she was in much shape for wandering around. I can understand you being so upset. I would be too (((hugs)))

| Thanks. I just can't stop thinking about her. I doubt anyone picked her up, my parents live off the road a bit. I completely agree that I had no idea how she could possibly wander off, I'm not sure what happened, but I looked everywhere. I hope that she maybe crawled somewhere in the nearby woods and I happened to miss her and she will show her face again to my parents. I called the shelter like 6 times today to see if she was picked up and they kept saying no. |

| It is so sad thinking about how cruel some people can be. You and your bf were angels to supply her with a meal. Let's hope and pray that some other kind soul took her in. |

| That is so sad! I am sorry she was gone when you came back out. Maybe another good soul will find her and do the same thing you did. I know there are cruel people out there with no compassion but I like to think more are good-hearted, kind folks. Maybe the Humane Society will find her soon. If she is in that bad of shape, I am sure she will be found again. Try not to worry -- you probably have already saved her for the night with the food and water and what is more, the kind, loving voice she got to hear from you. Wish we were all there to help you organize a search party!

BANNED FOR NOT SENDING A GE GIFT! | poor baby Oh, I know how you feel, a hurt or injured animal just kills me.....but, no matter what has happened to her, one of her most recent memories of human contact is someone talking to her, giving her food and water, you did all that you could do. Bless you |

| How far away do you live from the place you saw her? Maybe you could keep looking? If she is still their I don't think she would go far. I know I would be just like you, and I bet you can't stop thinking about her. Please keep us updated.

| I am sorry any dog lover has to see this crap. After many years in with rescue...I have learned that if you feel confident and show confidence you can cover them with a towel to pick up. You are protecting them and yourself. But be careful at all times.

| Reading this breaks my heart THere are truly awful people in this world, aren't there? You have such a big heart to care so much for this little angel. You were able to make sure she had some food and water. Maybe she'll come back....I hope so.

| She might come back when she gets hungry since she knows you will feed her and you might get a second chance. |

| That's awful. I don't blame you for being upset. I really can't stand to see animals in such condition - it breaks my heart! I hope you hear about her soon or see where she went.
