| ![]() That does make sense. But Suri ran into a wall, no sound, no kicking, nothing but a heart beat. I think her head snapped to the side, and her heart was beating because of the adrenaline of running around. Quote:

I'm so sorry about little Suri. It hurts so bad when you lose your perfect dog. When you feel like God made that dog especially for you and then took her away. But he has a reason so i know she is in a fun place now, where she belongs. I know i will see her again one day, as well as my other pets i have lost.

| ![]() I'm so sorry for you and I can't imagine what it feels like. What you are describing about what happen sounds very similar to what happen to Stormy a while back, we think now it had to of been a seizure. I remember the first time it happen she just had a bath. My fiancee was holding her in his arms and she let out a BIG whine/cry. she then went totally limp like you describe. Just like a rag doll, her mouth looked greyish and she was staring straight at nothing and not responding. I freaked out right away and the only thing I could think of doing was CPR. It didn't seem like she was breathing but you could tell her heart was going. We did CPR and then my fiancee grabbed her and drove down the street to the vet clinic, she came too in the car though slowly but looked very dazed and confused. I am not sure if maybe she had a seizure? Did the vet think it could of been possible? Did she go to the bathroom like pee or poop while this happen? |

| ![]() Hun, Sophie has been in my thoughts since the day you first posted about her journey to becoming an angel. I've done some looking around (google, yorkie books, small breed books, veterinarian textbooks, etc.) and came up with nothing. But somethings did make me wonder. Is it possible that she hit her head/hurt her neck/spine? Or maybe collapsed windpipe, yorkies are genetically predisposed to tracheal collapse (weakened cartilage rings of trachea) just the right amount of pressure in just the right area can cause a collapse. I'm so sorry you are going thru this. I am glad to see you are using YT as an outlet to work thru this thou. We are hear ![]() |

| ![]() Oh and I found ... As a nursing student I also went thru some of my textbooks and if it happened in a human it sounds like a stroke or seizure, during which it is possible she breathed in some saliva and choked. |
