| Is it an off leash area where you were? I do think the man who had the lab was way out of line, but if it was an off leash area then maybe it's not such a great idea to have an antagonistic dog there in the first place.

| You should be able to feel safe in any place you walk your dog. I get so mad when peoples dogs bound up to me and Poppy( who is kept on a lead 99% of the time) as shes extremely timid and scared but very vocal so she sounds like the ferocious one. The other owners nearly always cannot call their dog off and I end up scooping her into my arms. I too have had one incident in particular where a so called professional dog walker was walking 7 dogs all off the lead and 1 in particular would'nt leave us alone. Poppy was tying me up in knots running around me to escape the dog (big dog )The handler had no control whatsoever and the dog also jumped up to me and covered me in mud. I was furious but she tried to make out that I was the one in the wrong by complaining. I too reported her to the dog warden as soon as I returned home. He apparently rang her and spoke to her but thats as far as it went. She still walks the dogs off leads. Luckily I now know what time shes at the park and keep away at this time. I'm so glad that Connor is ok, poor little mite I think that it should be law(and policed) that ALL dogs must be kept on leads except in fenced off dog run areas. The man sounds a bully and a danger to everyone. HOW DARE HE THREATEN YOU AND CONNOR, REPORT HIM!!!!!

| What a bastard. I would of told him that if he touched my dog, I'd make sure he'd be "thrown" in a jail cell for animal abuse. |
