| I love him but he stresses me out! I just don't know what I am going to do with this little one . Every time I take him outside he picks up things he isn't supposed to have. Today within a few seconds of walking out the door he picked up a little rock and was chewing on it. When I heard him crunching on something, I scooped him up and got it out. I am soooo afraid he is going to choke on something or get an intestinal blockage but I can't walk in front of him with a magnifying glass. :sigh: He brings me so much happiness but so much stress. lol

| The joys and work of having a small inqusitive yorkie who we have always called hoovers for they are always sniffing the ground looking for something they should not have.. they do however generally grow past this.. anne |

| Pixie is just terrible..i'm forever running out to the garden to get something out of her mouth, be it a stick or a stone..or she will be chasing a Bee or a wasp..it's a full time job! and I have to check the floors in the house regularly...I will usually hear her little mouth chewing on something and i'll say: "Pixie! what have you got"!? and she will look guilty and spit whatever it is out on the floor..she's so funny though..I just scoop her up and smother her in kisses! she will be 2 in June and shows no signs of growing out of this.

| Love that "Hoover!" We have that problem in obedience class. The trainer keeps telling me not to let Johnny sniff the floor. It's hard cause he's so close to the floor.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Most of mine out grew that stage by 1 1/2. But Roxie has something on her mouth at least 5 times a day. She is so fast that before I know it she has something. Last night her and Pixie got a hold of a human hair clip (claw type) and I was drying my hair so didn't notice. The broke it in two and chewed off the claws. I was freaking out but I did find all but 2 pieces. I don't think Roxie will ever grow out of it it's just some have that type of personality.

| Oh, I feel your pain. Sophie is the same way. If it's on the floor, it's in her mouth. She will even go up underneath the kickplates of my bottom kitchen cabinets and chew on the dead bugs stuck in the cobwebs. You know, the cobwebs you don't even know are there until your yorkie comes looking for you with webs on it's nose! |

| my older kids are pretty good about not eating everything off the floor. and miss buffey is a perfect angel and hardly ever eats grass or weeds outside. however, the other day she WAS eating the stuffing from a toy they tore apart now bree on the other hand, does eat everything. she does not even play outside because she is too busy eating leaves, dirt, grass, weeds, etc. a couple of months ago i noticed her chewing on something (she was sitting all by herself in the living room - hint #1 she was up to no good )so i go over and check. well miss b had lost her LAST baby teeth and yep - bree was chewing on it
