| You are not crazy! I am so glad to have found a place where people feel just like me. I do not feel that Couver is a pet, he is my son. I treat him just as I would treat any child I ever have (haha probably better ). A lot of people don't understand. I got invited to spend the weekend at the beach with some friends, but dogs were not allowed, so I chose not to go. They called me crazy because I chose not to leave my baby. I could not imagine leaving my baby for a weekend!

| I have friends that have dogs that think I am crazy. They call me a Yorkie hugger. I can't think of anything better to be called! I love my baby and I am not ashamed to show it. If they think I am crazy then crazy I will be. |

| I have tried many times to figure out what it is that we all have in common. What makes us so fanatical about our furballs? We are predominantly female but the guys on here aren't sissies by any means. Some of us grew up with pets and some of us didn't. We live all over the world and have all different types of occupations. We are all different ages. So what is it besides the fact that we all own and love yorkies? |

![]() I've had friends tell me I'm crazy.....especially as I'm getting another pup and have two children under five as well as Twinkle to look after! Yes it's incredibly hard work already, and is set to get even harder but no one suffers because of it, and I wouldn't want my life any other way (except maybe earn more money so I can have more yorkies ) xxx xxx

| I agree with what others have told you. I think he fact that everyone here is as obsessed with their babies as I, is why I love coming here so much. Plus, it makes it easier for me to be around others who are not as in love with dogs as I am.

| Sadly, I know people who own dogs who don't get how we feel about our babies. I can't tell you how many "animal lovers" were horrified that I spent over $4000 on Ziggy's surgery this year. No, they definitely don't get it.

| yes, non pet owners don't get it. my friends would all rather go out to bars/clubs to dance and get drunk, whereas i would rather stay home w/ my babies and play and cuddle with them.

| haha my family nags me...i can relate. I understand people love and baby their pets, but an old coworker of mine accused her neighbor of animal abuse because she left her cat alone in her apartment all day to go to work without having a cat sitter......thats a little extreme! Cats are independent...but yorkies arent People who dont understand probably never will. |
