Not to derail the thread, but yes, it does make for a long day, esp. at my age and my health, but it is an honor to prepare and serve the grieving family and friend's of the deceased, and to celebrate the life of the person that has passed. My Altar & Rosary Society member's do this out of our own pockets, whenever a member passes. We also do it for a family, whenever there is a family, that providing the meal would be a hardship.

I think, the outrage was due to the fact that the OP had not spayed this little dog after the first time.

And believe me, she made it clear in her deleted post, that she trusts her Vet of 12 years and didn't want 'someone's' opinion unless they were a Vet. So, that leave's me wondering why, she came here. :confused:

I would think, her Vet would have advised her to have her spayed, after the first time, but taking into consideration that he didn't seem too concerned about the severe LP, I would not be surprised if he didn't advise her to have her spayed.

Sometimes, "Nice" just doesn't get through to people.

The OP claims she has bred a larger breed of dog, so, she surely knows, there is no time that you "stop worrying". After all, all pups and kittens, and all my Wildlife Babies need constant supervision in those early weeks.

I hope, the little Mom and her pups will be ok, and the pups won't inherit the LP.

I've met far too many people with young pups that have severe LP. They have lost out on their puppyhood, because of it.

I know megansmomma has witnessed things in Rescue that would make a grown man, weep.

And I, myself had the great displeasure to see a "Breeding Barn" when I first moved to IN.

Tiny little females, with bellies too huge from pregnancy, unable to walk. And definitely not healthyenough to have puppies. They should have been someone's little Pampered Princess instead of spending their lives, churning out puppies.

My dearest friend has been rushed back into the hospital at 7:00 this morning, after just being released on Monday. So, I am going to go focus on what I can do to assist her, and her husband, rather on something I have no control over.

When you break the rules there are consequences to your actions. There were so many discrepancies stated and I truly believe this was not an accident. Or should I say it was stated (not here) this was NO ACCIDENT. So I am sorry if a few members think I was being harsh but sometimes the truth hurts. Unlike some I have experienced weeding through the lies and mistruths and that is exactly what I saw.

IMO this woman felt she was educated~she stated that her vet didn't see anything wrong with her pup having LP. Maybe next time when I see something like this I should send a friendship request, give them the name of a good rescue in their area and tell them that everything will be OK since there are a lot of wonderful people that care and donate to rescues and we will fix everything for the mom and eventually the pups too. :rolleyes: Would that have met your approval?

As for handing out emails for help, I have to say that I have done that numerous times in the past. I have helped many members here when they were in need. I have Pmed members when they were being attacked and offered my assistance privately. I have handed out me phone number and personal Yahoo messenger name so that I can help someone that needs info or assistance. I have also met members in person and also have YT members that I now call my friends. So jump onto the bash Megamsmomma bandwagon because you didn't like my delivery or approach to something that turned my stomach when I read it. Having dealt with people like this in the past you learn to read through the half truths and misinformation to ascertain what is really going on.

When someone is caught in mistruth and twisting of fact, it is a shame that instead of letting it go they now have an ax to grind with me. When I am followed from post to post to have my words analyzed. I personally stay away from those long standing members that I do not agree with and do not get into schoolyard antics.

IMO, your passion and love for animals is what came through for me...everyone reads and interprets posts differently. I saw a person who wants the best for innocent animals and was just expressing that feeling with passion not hate.

I haven't been on here long - but I have learned a lot and I thank you for the help that you have given to me.

That is very sweet of you to come out of the weeds and into a war zone. I appreciate that you are thoughtful of my feelings and opinions. I genuinely want to help anyone that cares about the welfare of animals. I too have learned and will continue to learn from my experiences and exposure from both here and my volunteering in my community. It is my hope that I will continue to grown and absorb knowledge to make me a better voice to advocate for those that cannot. This is how I live my life and raise my children as well. If you are inclined to come along that makes the ride even more fulfilling. :hug:

Ok, so this little girl was bred rather accidently or on purpose the fact is she has a condition that is genetic. The most important thing is that she is spayed and the puppies are either spayed or neutered ASAP so as this condition does not duplicate. She needs to neuter and spay before releasing them to anyone else to decrease the chance of this problem affecting others from her line.

you started the bashing after one post! you didnt take the tome to even try to give her the benfit of the doubt! geez im glad i still have a lil more faith in ppl.yes after several post it was evident she was not taking her to the vet when she should hav so yes then even I was frustrated ab the lp issue,then i could kind of see you getting ill but you started in that way and you will not convince me that was not uncalled for because it was!
