What do you use for daily grooming What do some of you use for daily brushing/combing. I know not to every groom a dry coat. Currently I am using Four Paws Soft and Silky spray. But I was wondering if there is anything else I could be using? Sophie has a silky coat, if that matters on what to use.

Just brush their coats everyday. Bath once a week, brush teeth everyday..Nutri-vet toothbrush and C.e.t. toothpaste. I love this toothbrush..Thats it. I have been using Cowboy Magic shampoo,conditioner/shine oil. Works great on cotton coats...

I started with Bio Groom Mink Oil spray. Mixed with water, this isn't a bad product. But after a week of using it, it kind of built up on the hair. But it did help with tangles. Sophie gets those quite frequently. Then a non YTer recommended the Four Paws spray Soft & Silky. This I DO like, however, I have to take Sophie outside to spray her with it, then bring her back in. As it causes us all to cough. It's smells wonderful and her coat is lovely when I'm done. I was curious what others use as I was warned never to "dry brush" a Yorkie coat as it damages the hair.

Your welcome! I just read on another thread concerning keeping hair long or in puppy cut....someone there recommended Pet Edge Ultra Vitalizing Mist. I'm gonna give it a try and see what I like best. My local human society is making out like a bandit with all these products I buy, try and give to them! LOL
