I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() It will probably be a couple months. The good news is that many puppies mat, and once the new or adult coat comes in, they may not mat as much. This has happened to so many people and a cute little dress or shirt can make a difference in their looks. I'm sorry this has happened to you, it probably not as bad as you think, but it's so hard getting use to what looks like a different dog. Another thing about clothing, they may even need a sweater, if it's really shaved short, hair helps insulate the body from temperature extremes of cold or hot.

| ![]() It will probably take awhile. I took Sam last July to the groomers, he had beautiful long hair on his ears and I told the groomer NOT to cut them. Well, she did and they still don't look like they use to..Needless to say we haven't been back to that groomer.
