| Sorry to jump on your thread but this is something I have been thinking about. I normally work away from home 3 days and at home 2 days, then have the weekend. My aunt kept Millie the 3 days I was in the office. When I got Millie I took a week off work with her, plus a few extra days working from home. My aunt suggested this time I might be better starting off the routine as I mean to go on, and not take any holidays at the start. I could probably do 3 days from home for a few weeks, and my aunt take the pup the other 2 days. What do you think? Thought the pup mightnt bond with me and its surroundings as much if it is out of the house so soon, but then again, it will be doing that the following week anyway. What do you think?

| I work, & go home for lunch. I really hate to leave the little guy in the morning, but he's adjusted to the routine. I leave him with a stuffed Kong.

| I do both cuz I work from home office. Its kind of stressful sometimes because most people go into an office and get to leave the home stuff for later..and visa versa. As stressful as it is, I wouldnt change a thing. Nothing beats being able to earn your paycheck and still get to be there when the kids are home from school. Its scary to think what kind of trouble the kids or dogs would be into if I weren't here. BUT I will say that the dogs act out when they want my attention LOL just like kids. Its hard to stay focused when so much is going on at one time. I've needed more Calgons than the average "Joe". |

| I work days and my husband works evenings, so between the two of us there is someone always home with Oscar (and our 14 month old son doesn't have to go to daycare.) This was great when we were housetraining him because we learned his cues very quickly and he was housebroken in 2 weeks. Now, if for some reason we need to, we can leave him home with free range of the house for 6 to 8 hours with never an accident! |

| I worked full time until March when I got laid off. We put Lucy in a bathroom with her bed, toys, and a potty pad. She hasn't scratched or chewed the door like some yorkies do. However, now that I am at home looking for a job; she has gotter extremely accustomed to it and is have abandonment issues when I run to the store!! Example; she has chewed the edge of the door...she's 3lbs!! She also tinkled on my boyfriends running shorts right before he left to go run!! So it will take some time to get her back to her old self once I get a job!! Good luck!! |
