| Opinions on dog walkers We have been dealing with a separation anxiety/potty issue since we rescued our Grace 7 months ago. It has been suggested a few times to us to get a dog walker to come at some point during the day and let her out/give her attention while we are gone. The DH didn't like the idea of having someone we didn't know in our home but family lives too far away and everyone else works. Neighbors are not really an option either since she has tried to nip at the ones we would trust into our home. There is a possiblity that I could get a friend's daughter to come a few times a week in the summer. Does anyone have experience with using a dog walker while you are gone at work? What questions did you ask before letting them into your home? How much do you pay? |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Hi, I don't have any experience with this, but just last night I was thinking about how much I love Grace's picture. It's so nice to see a rescue looking that happy.

| Oh thank you so much! That picture is actually one from the foster that had her before we got her. It is the picture we fell in love with and she has not let us down! We get to see that "smile" a lot around here! |

| When I was working we had a dog walker for SophieKate. It worked out very well and when I return to work I plan on hiring them again. I used a company called Fetch, all the walkers are bonded and trained to care for the pets they are walking. They would come daily and take SophieKate out for a 30 minute walk, return her to her crate and make sure she had water.
