| Brushing Bella's hair You know I have been brushing Bella every night at the same time, everytime I pick up the brush she goes into attack mode and come hell or high water she wants to bite the brush to smithereens. It's really a difficult task, when do they start liking the grooming part????

| Hehe, Momo does the same thing. I have to put him on the bathroom counter & give him something to occupy him, whether it be a bully stick, kong w/a ziggie, or toothbrush. He has cottony coat & gets tangles all the time, so I have to be very gentle or he goes into attack mode...w/Mimi, she's calmer when I put her on my lap. When she's on the counter, she'll attack the brush & cry...

| Hahah, I dont even know what kind of coat Bella has, it does not tangle, I just like to brush it. I cannot keep Bella occupied with anything, she does not take her attention off the brush at all! She wants to bite it and thats all she can thing of!

BANNED FOR NOT SENDING A GE GIFT! | Brush? Bad!!! Trevor will be 1 in a few days......he still hates the brush. I had him groomed (well pretty much shaved), but I'm still trying to brush him daily so he gets used to it......I'm using a soft brush because he hasn't much hair, and he still hates it.......I put a bully stick in his mouth so he can't nip, but he is a wiggle worm |

| This must be a "Yorkie" thing!! When I get Prince's brush, he will sneak off and hide under our bed. Like Mimimomo's mom, I also put Prince on the vanity top in the bathroom, and that really helps. After I finish, he will then hide under the bed, just in case I think of something else to do to him.

I don't have any problems with Molly--she Loves to be brushed and pampered, but I still praise her for it. I use Small-Jacs, by Bil-Jac. She get's one after I put her on the counter, during the brushing, and after I'm done. Let Bella become familiar with the brush. Let her smell it, and everytime she Does Not attack it, she get's a treat. Do this a couple of times a day without trying to brush. Good Luck!
