Hi, it's very important to keep their coat brushed. [which I'm sure you already know].
I don't have any problems with Molly--she Loves to be brushed and pampered, but I still praise her for it.
I use Small-Jacs, by Bil-Jac. She get's one after I put her on the counter, during the brushing, and after I'm done.
Let Bella become familiar with the brush. Let her smell it, and everytime she Does Not attack it, she get's a treat. Do this a couple of times a day without trying to brush.
