I think a couple of things have helped my pictures. First, taking the picture at his level, this means either raising him off the floor or getting down on the floor myself, (not so easy anymore.) Pictures taken of them when they are on the couch or chair look good because they are more at "eye level." Adding extra indoor light besides the flash, really makes a difference in the quality of the pictures, and eliminated eye flash. I just have a desk lamp that I shine towards him, and this really improves the way his eyes look, they seem much more natural. I also give him a treat after every few pictures. Soon he will be a plus size model.

I teach all of mine to sit and then i get behind them and hold their bottom down as they turn their head and then praise them. I also use cheese. They love cheese and i hold it just out of reach and snap away with the camera and say "hold it". when they hold it for 2 seconds, i give them the cheese.
It also helps to have a digital camera and PHOTOSHOP!! LOL!!!
I put my girls up on the kitchen island and then can delete the background out so they look better and you don't see all the junk on my counters! LOL!

I found a continuous mode on my camera that shoots a few photo's a second and then just pick the good one, but it's still hard to get.

Your Joey is one of my favorite cuties on here. I would have a very difficult time trying to pick out a favorite picture of him (although I do love the one in the red/white striped jammies)! The eye level thought is a great idea, I'm usually standing pointing the camera down towards them. I'm gonna try that. Thanks!

That little cutie deserves all the treats he can get! I think he'd make an adorable 'plus size'!

I've used the kitchen counters before (see my avatar)! I didn't think about cleaning it up with Photoshop. Oh, the wonders of modern technology! I think you've just made my picture taking much easier!!!

Your girls are all so gorgeous, I never would've guessed you used a software package on their pics!

Hmmm, I wonder if my camera has that. Maybe that's what the user manual is for??? That would be a terrific way to get at least maybe a few good shots. Thank you!!

Heheheh, thanks, she is such a cutie I take pics of her all the time, only a few of them come out properly. Try and try again I say, my camera on my phone also has a bit of a delay so that makes it even harder.

Most of the good pictures I got of Tobie were luck! lol. I just start snapping away with my digital camera and then delete all of the bad ones (which is a lot). Like the picture in my avatar, he was jumping up and down and moving around and that was just a lucky shot!

Lol, I love the jammies ones too, I was sitting on a chair while I was taking those pictures, and I just think the angle you get when you are closer to their level, looks much more personal. A friend here gave me that tip, in all my old pictures I too was standing while he was on the floor, and I couldn't believe the difference it makes.

It looks like a stack of squares. The camera can't be on auto. I have it set on "P" and it's with the timer setting. I have a canon g10. However I now have MILLIONS of photo's of Genghis that look like blurs

That picture of all your girls in a row, dressed in pink is adorable! That should be a greeting card for something! Wow! They are just gorgeous. I'll leave it at that before I really start gushing.
