How do you all do it? I see so many adorable pictures of all these yorkies on here and I can't seem to get one good shot of mine! What's your trick?

I sit and wait for with the camera in hand. many not so good photos to ones that are good!

Buddy see's the camera and he stops and poses. I have never had
a problem getting him to take a picture.

Even as a puppy.

You are lucky! And I'm jealous!

I wonder if Buddy could have a little talk with mine and explain that the camera 'is your friend'. Mine all go crazy and end up jumping around like idiots or running away when I bring the camera out.

I get Bella to sit (she waits for her treat) and then hope against all hopes that she sits still long enough for the camera to get the perfect pic. I got this one recently

Lucky! haha Nemo will look at the camera and by time I snap he's already moved. I swear my boy has the attention span of a fly! Then again he is 3 months old...He did this the other day and I actually got a great picture--He turned his head but I got a shot of his tongue stuck out and on his nose! Its too funny.

But yes unfortunately if you have a young one patience is definitely needed.

Sometimes Molly will sit still. But mainly it is catch as catch can for a decent picture. Many end up blurry, etc, but the occasional good picture makes it worth it.

This was two years ago. He let's me do anything to him. What a good
sport he is. He wasn't really hurt I did this to him for get well card's that
V (red98vet) was making for me. He just sat there a posed.

I just am soooo thankful for the digital camera! I shudder to think how far in the Poor House I'd be if I had to actually pay to process all those bad shots to get to the one or two good ones.

Yes! That's exactly what happens to me. My camera doesn't take the shot as soon as I press the button - there's a little delay - and by the time it finally clicks the good shots are gone.

I am the expert on blurry shots! I've got tons of those. Or ones with half their bodies already out of the picture.
