| Congrats on the new one. Love the name Maverick. I've just ordered Cesar Millan's Dog Whisperer DVD. He also comes on the National Geographic Channel too. We're picking up our new one on Saturday and I hope that it will help. It's been 6 years since we had to train Coty and 14.5 yrs. for Tyson. But...I have a 7 month old and 4 yr. old, so maybe it'll come back to me really fast!

| Awwww, did you name your Maverick after my Mavrick? If so, I think that would be so sweet. If not, sorry if I sound forward. Training really does take a lot of patience. My Mavrick has only peed on the pad twice while in the house. However, I am outside trainging them and the pee every single time I take them out. My pups are now 14.5 weeks old. They have just stopped pooping in their crate completely during the last 2 weeks. What a relief!!!! They pee a lot more frequently though and still have an accident here or there in the crate. I'd suggest outside training as someone above mentioned. Also, the crate needs to be small for now. The bigger, the more chance he will not be bothered going to the bathroom while in it. I wish you lots of luck. It will definetly take time. Good luck! |
