| Pita's eye... See how Pita's eye looks in this picture? Her other eye is black around it and isn't as swollen, she doesn't seem to scratch at it. I've had her to the vet and he didn't see any damage to the eye itself yet sometimes she squints with it. What do you think? |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Chanel had a little swollen eye once and I used sterile saline and it really helped flush it and it got better on it's own - |

| I had a cat who used to, on occasion, squint with one eye. (same eye everytime). The 1st time it happened I took her to the vet, he told me she had conjuntivitis and I was given eye meds. The 2nd and 3rd time it happened I continued to give her the same meds, left over from the 1st time. But after that she would do it occasionally and I would not give her anything and in 2 days she would stop and the eye would be better, so while none of this helps you (i'm sure), I just wanted to let you know that I empathize. |

| It could be as simple as a blocked tear duct or allergies. See if it clears up on it's own. I'd give it 2 weeks, then take her to the vet, unless it gets worse sooner, then take her right away. She's a beauty!
