Oh no! I'm so sorry for your loss. This is something all of us fear, but most of us get our babies back alive and well. I feel utterly sick for you. Please accept heartfelt sympathy and I'll pray for God to comfort you. *HUG*

Lannie, My heart breaks for you and your family. This is not suppose to happen. I don't understand . Do they just assume or do they actually look into what happened? Maybe it's a mute point,but I would want to know exactly what happened. What is it's a heart defect?? I hope you find peace within your thoughta and your heart heals with each passing day!

I'm so sorry for your lost of Abbie. My heart goes out to you. I know how you feel. We lost our girl too, they had just given her the an and her heart stop. I have never really gotten over the loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss Lannie. That really is the biggest fear we have with our little ones. I put off Adie's spay til she was 9 months old because I was so fearful. You had no reason to believe that anything could go wrong. I pray that your grief will lessen and you will soon be able to take comfort in your wonderful memories.

My heart is just breaking for you. I have been scared to get Silvia spayed for that same reason, so I just cannot imagine what you are going through. My thoughts are with you for your heart to heal. I'm so very sorry.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet Abbie. This was one of my biggest fears when neutering my puppy. I have seen it happen to so many of my friends when their dogs were spayed and neutered, and not just yorkies either. It's a common problem. But I just saw it happen to my friend's dog last week when her dog died during surgery for pyometra from NOT being spayed. So there are dangers both ways. There are risks anytime our babies are put under anesthetic. So scary...
