I can't even TAKE A SHOWER by myself anymore - and its not good enough just being in the bathroom with me.... Fancy has to jump on and stand on the edge of the tub next to the wall with all 4 feet. Not just peek in but her entire body is standing on the edge watching me shower. I put her back down on the floor and she just gets back up there again and again and again. Its cute I'm going to have to take a picture of her when she does it. But its nice to know in the 3 short months that I have had Fancy she loves me so much she never wants to let me out of her sight. I don't mind being followed around everywhere - I've got 4 kids so I'm used to it anyway!!!!

Ha ha! My yorkie is nosey, but I never thought of it as annoying. He's such a busy-body, has to know what we're doing and what that noise is. He sits and watches me load the dishwasher or unload it. He sits between my feet when I cook dinner...however I suspect that may be because he's hoping I'll drop food! I'm a super messy cook!

LOL the other side of the coin is, with a Yorkie you will not be lonely.

Mia follows me endlessly. All of it is fine. At noon she is extra needy and whines so much. I just crate her and she naps for an hour or so. Then she is happy and no more whines untill 8 or 9 pm. She is ready for bed. Instead of putting her to bed upstairs alone, I put a crate by my chair in the living room. She sleeps there until I am ready for bed.
Yorkies are smart and demanding. Just like with skinkids, they come into "our" home. We need to be Alpha and set the rules. To which we are showered with kisses and cuddles and lots of laughs!

Sometimes I walk in the door and have to pee so bad I have to run past her. She probably thinks the words, "I have to pee so bad" means hello. She follows me to the bathroom and wants to be picked up right then. It's pretty cute cause her little butt just waggles and wiggles. She doesn't care that I'm sitting there going she just thinks I'm sitting down to pick her up lol! When I take a shower is another issue. I've taken her into the shower before to shampoo her then have DH take her when she's done so I can finish up. So now she thinks if she's in there she'll get a bath too!!
I do love how she follows me around. I am just as attached to her as she is to me.

Love my little parade ♥

I have a little parade with me wherever i go in the house too! If i go into the little bathroom, they all come in to see if i am still there...it's not like i can escape as there is only one door but they still check to see if i am still in there. I stopped closing the door a lone time ago...they would all line their noses under the door or scratch on it so i just stopped shutting the door. I have little beds all over the house so they always have a place to sleep wherever i am. My sewing room is full of beds too so they all conk out at the sounds of the machines. I would be lost without my little shadows!!
They do have their own crates at night but they are right beside my bed and can still see me

I don't know, I would sometimes say that mine get a little annoying. A lot of that is my fault. I have spoiled them to no end with having them on my desk when I am working. Well ANY time I head towards the office they come tearing pass me to the office. I have to pick them up and put them on the desk or else they paw at me. Sometimes I just want to look up an phone # on the computer and I have to pick both of them up onto the desk and it takes Maggie a good 5 minutes before she settles down, she explores the whole desk walking all over the keypad. lol. Right now, she is alseep on the bed I have on the desk and Hot Rod is laying between my arms. lol. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I love it when the follow me anywhere else in the house.

Love

I think this is hilarious, I love the fact Roxy watches EVERYTHING I do, she follows all over the place and always needs to know where I am. I think it's part of a Yorkie's personality, adorable little fellas.

Her post made me laugh, because it described my Couver to a T (minus the "annoying" part. I love that he follows me everywhere. I feel loved and important I don't get to go anywhere without him, and I wouldn't want it any other way!!
