So glad to hear that little Tatum is doing better. Thanks for all the updates. Hearing all your updates really help bring to light on what I should expect if Cassi needs LP surgery. I'm bringing Cassi in to see an Ortho Specialist in May. I'm hoping that she won't need LP surgery b/c I don't know if she'll be able to just lay around for weeks. She is so energetic and always wants to play. |

First update of the day.... Hey guys, just wanted to pop in for another quick update. I had to sneak in here while hubby is home for lunch because Tatum WILL NOT let me leave the room! I mean literally the minute I step out of there she starts crying  Poor baby just wants her mommy right by her side at all times. Hubby is going to take my laptop to work today and fix it for me (it is having issues at the moment) that way I can sit on the couch with it in the living room and get on here and chat. I told him that I am going stir crazy sitting on the couch all day as I get sooo sick of doing nothing but watching T.V. lol. I could move Tatum in here in the computer room, but I don't want to have to move her back and forth all the time from room to room - so having my laptop will just be alot easier. I did her PT this morning and it went pretty good. This was the very first time for me doing it by myself  Kind of hard though when I have to get up and down to get the towel warm, get the cold pack out of the freezer, etc., etc. - all while holding her. Sigh.....it is just soo much easier when he is here to help me :( I can't wait until 5:00, LOL! She pooped again this morning...YAY! Way to go TATOR BUG! :D She hasn't been eating as much today as the last few days, but hopefully later on she will have worked up an appetite. I know some of you have been asking questions and have sent me PM's....later after he is home for good from work, I will pop on here and get back to you guys. Right now I have to make it quick because he is only here for an hour for lunch and once he leaves I am living room bound and stuck on the couch again for another 5 and 1/2 hours  Ok...will be back later with another update and to answer some of your questions and PM's - love you guys! :ghug: P.S. - I just have to quickly add in before I go, that my hubby is so cute. LOL. He has called and checked on her I don't know HOW many times today (the first time he called to check on her this morning it was only 15 minutes after he left the house LOL)...and AS SOON as he walked in the door for lunch, the first thing he did was walk over to her house and get her out and love on her lol. Awwww....he is such a good daddy to our little Tator Bug :) He just loves her so much and it is really hard for him having to go to work because he can't be here with her all day like he has been since we've brought her home. He really misses her :( He has asked me everything from, did she get all her medicine to did she go poop yet today and how did the physical therapy go on your own this morning? lol...he is just such a sweetie! :) Him wubs him's wittle Tator Bugs!!! :D |

OMG Brooke I am so glad that I'm not the only Yorkie nut-job mommy out there..hehehe. I am happy that our Tator-Tot is on the mend and end result looks so good. I'm the same way with Izzy with her pancreatitis..when I had to watch to see if she had normal poos..lol. I, too, went out searching in the grass to make sure it was solid. OMG the neighbors must think I'm looney. Tator has a great daddy you can tell by your posts how much he loves her.:D Go Tator-Tot!! Get well soon baby girl.:animal-pa |

Brooke, Just wanted you to know that you and your little one are in my thoughts and prayers. (You guys are such good parents!) |
Good to hear Tatum is doing better. I will keep her in my prayers. |
She is beautiful and I'll definitely will be thinking of her tomorrow! We all know how you feel. Look forward to hearing a great report! |
I missed this one until today. Glad she is doing well. Her little nose is shaped like a heart! How cute is that? |
Very weird..... Just a little while ago I had the front part of Tatum's house open and I was sitting on the floor right in front of it and Stedman jumped in my lap and then walked into her house. Well, when he got over closer to her, she snapped at him  Then he walked out, came back a little while later and she snapped at him again! The first time it was on his ear and the second time it was on his head. WHY on EARTH is she doing this? Tatum is the sweetest, most gentle dog EVER and she would never hurt a fly. She is so shy and quiet and is such a mommies girl....she has NEVER snapped at another dog, let alone Stedman, in her entire life! This is just soooo not like her at all. And I know it can't be any of the medication that she's on, because she's been on all of them before and she's never done this. I highly doubt it would be because he walked into her little house, because Tatum is by NO MEANS "territorial" - not in the slightest. The ONLY thing I can think of is that she isn't feeling well and he got to close to her? Still though, we are talking about TATUM here....and it just doesn't make any sense at all. Needless to say, poor Steddy ran out of her house, lol. I just cannot figure this out. I was literally SHOCKED when I saw her do it. My mouth flew open! P.S. - There was no food in there at that time but even if there was, this still isn't like Tatum AT ALL. They eat out of the same bowl and most times they are at the bowl eating out of it at the same time together. I am just sooo baffled by this  |
