| I'm new here & this is my first post---got my first Yorkie about a month ago. Anyway, I am a big NHRA drag racing fan so I have named several of my cats after drivers: Ashley, Brittany & Courtney --three white cats that are sisters so they were named after John Force's daughters. Antron my solid black cat was named after Antron Brown. Gary is an orange tabby who is named after Gary scelzi. My beautiful yorkie "Libby" is named after my car ( I ran out of racer names I liked) a Jeep Liberty. |

| Toby was the only name hubby and I agreed on for our first little fellow. We had Skeeter picked out for our second one when we went to pick him out at six weeks. The breeder's little girl (7 yrs old) looked a bit sad when we told her the name and I asked her if she didn't like it ... she said that it was a good enough name, but that she had secretly named him Rudy and he was her favourite pup out of the litter. Hubby and I looked at each other, then told her that was the perfect name for him and that we would call him Rudy. I will never forget the smile on that little girl's face as her mother thanked us .... and besides, now we have to get another one, to call Skeeter, right?

| I had a tough time thinking up a name for Tila, I wanted something different and unique. I got to name her when she was 4 weeks, but it took me a couple weeks to think of something I liked. I had actually named her Briseis, after one of characters in the movie Troy. But when I went to pick her up, the woman I got her from told me they were calling her Tequila, and calling her Tila for short. The name actually suited her, so we agreed and she is Tila. |

| Mr. Xavier Maverick... Mister was a must for me because Audrey Hepburn's 1st Yorkie was a "Mr." Xavier is just a name I've always loved, but I was reminded of it by a friend's son. Maverick...just suits him. Our cat, Miss Holly Golightly, is named after Audrey Hepburn's character in "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Sasha was named by her previous owner, so we ad no say in that!

| Well I named BOTH of my girls before I ever even seen them. Silly me thought the name Daizy Mae was original....lol only to find out there are ALOT of Daizy Maes out there....then when I decided I wanted another...I came up with the name Tulip Petals.....sticking with the "flower" names. And each time...as I searched...when I found that "FACE" that matched my names....then I knew that was my baby!!!

| Twinkle and Wicket My daughter Mia chose Twinkle's name....after going through several Disney Princess names she finally suggested 'Twinkle?' and I loved it Our little boy (coming home soon!!!) is Wicket. He's named after one of the Ewoks in Star Wars. I've always thought it was great name for a dog, and when I saw our new pups face I just knew he was a Wicket xxx

| I forgot Pocket has a brother, he is a Huskey 100 times bigger then Pocket, I was supposed to pick him up at the airport on September 11,2001. Of corse we all know what happened that morning. So the breeder called me and told me he had to take him off the plane because he would have no idea where he would end up. So I had to wait for three weeks until all of the restrictions were lifted. So when he arrived I named him FREEDOM.

| I named mine Silvia, because she was born a silver color. My husband and I agreed on the name because her wanted to name her Silvia after a sports car (Nissan Silvia). So, we compromised.........her given name is Silvia, but her registered name (bless her little heart) is "Adam's Nissan Silvia."
