| ![]() Guys I will keep you posted on Emma,Gine has been calling me since I gave her my number a while back.I gave her the number so if she wanted to talk about Emma she could.I had offered some money and any help I could with Emma.I live far away so I can't do much.Anyway since then I have spoken to Gina almost daily and for hours each time.I really got to know her and her family and about her life and what she does. She does have Emmas best interest hear, she is just a little overwheled with it all. They went and got Emma a BIG cage so she has room to play in it.They only put her in it when they have food out or at bedtime. She says Emma is a GREAT dog just the aggression on the food is a BIG issue.I gave her some ideas and she seemed to be using it already. She wants what is best for her she just doesn't want to rush into anything because she might have to give her to the breeder if the court says so.In the meantime she gets attention from the kids and everyone else.I heard her and Teiya barking and Gina said they were playing.Gina just doesn't have the time to work on a dog with this kind of aggression and even though I myself wouldn't give up on a dog I have to understand how she feels. She is hoping by the end of this wk. she will have some answers to some of her questions so she can move to the next phase and find Emma a good and loving home.I believe she will do just that. She has promised me to keep me posted and I believe she will.In the meantime Emma is like a part of the family it is just stressful when food is around, keep in mind she has kids and you know kids they like to eat 24/7 so this is hard to do with Emmas problem.I did tell her to call around about a school that she could put her in to help Emmas aggression issues. She plans on doing this.I know in Decatur it cost 75 for a 4wk. class. |

| ![]() Not that it is any of my business.. But i have one question why in the world would anyone her expect her to just give up Emma or get her spayed. Im sure as all of us she works hard for her money and thought she was getting the dog she wanted.. you can look at the pic of what she thought she was getting and then look at the pic she did get and tell the breeder lied to her..Come on ladys be real here Unless you have a boat load of money no one on her would loose $1,100 PLUS HAVE HER SPAYED before giving her away... I dont know this lady but she works hard and just wants to get the dog she liked... you all need to stop being so hard on her it is not her fault it is the breeder for taking her money and lieing to her... I know whe all love our furbabies but also you have to bond with them and she dont... Good luck ![]() |

Initially the breeder offered her a refund. Gina elected not to take her up on that because she would be responsible for shipping the dog back. Now that being said...it is a far bigger expense to seek legal action....and the outcome is likely to be the same.

I don't know if you are familiar with all the posts on this topic, but she made it sound like the dog needed to be taken out of her house immediately. Remember, she posted on the "rescue" forum, not the "for sale" forum. When dog is as aggressive as she often made Emma sound, "endangering my children" was one of the comments made, it sounds like time is urgent. Also comments, such as "this dog was dumped on my doorstep", and that made it sound like Emma may not be in a good situation, and many of us were concerned for her wellbeing. So these things and many others, made us think that a rescue effort was welcome. A rescue is a rehoming, that is advantageous to the owner. Members posting in that forum can charge no more than $300.00 as per Yorkietalk rules. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ew-thread.html When someone post there we assume they are truly looking out for what's best for the dog, not trying to recoup costs, on what they think was a poor use of their money. So let's not blame Yorkietalk members for trying to help rehome this dog. She did ask for it.

| ![]() Well the correct way to handle it is for the breeder to take her back and pay for the shipping .. Gina did pay for it the first time when she thought she was getting what she paid for.... Im suprise that YT people would not be upset with the breeder for lieing to someone sounds like the breeder was a back yard breeder that is in it for the money...Oh that is right guess she needed to lie so she can save her house she was loosing and god know what else... heck she cant pay her bills no wonder she took this poor lady for a ride on this sale... I am dont with this subject... ![]() |

| ![]() I have been keeping up with this whole story but I haven't chimed in. One thing I've realized is that everyone has their own opinion and no matter what anyone else says, they aren't going to change that opinion. I think one thing we can agree on is that we want Emma to find a loving home where she is treated like a princess not in a home where the owner sees her as being "dumped on the doorstep". So many of us are emotionally invested in this little dog and would love to know when(if) she finds a good home NOT what's going on with lawyers and legal issues.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Don't know if many of you had seen the original for sale ad of Emma. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...e-florida.html. This little girl has been through a lot, and I hope she finds a wonderful family.
