I read and posted on your thread about Lulu. I can not believe what happened to her! I would be totally stressing out about a red wasp sting too. You're just lucky that she didn't have an allergic reaction or anything. Poor little thing. I really feel bad for her.

I am so happy Missy is home and snuggling. I would wait on the spay if your gut feeling is telling you. All of my girls came into heat before I could get them spayed.

She will be up and around in no time and this will all be a distant memory. Give her lots of hugs from all of us.

Hurriedly read through your thread to see how your littled one faired today. I was relieved to hear all is well. You are certainly deserving of letting it all come out and breaking down a little -- that is just part of love and caring.

Follow your instinct on waiting a while for the spay. I recently lost my sweet girl when I knew in my heart something was not right. I listened to the vet's office as they tried to alleviate my concerns since she was not showing any real symptoms. It was just a feeling I had that she was not acting herself. By the time she really had symptoms and I insisted they see her, it was too late for them to save her despite their best efforts. I think we get so in tune with these babies because we care so much about them, our "feelings" need to get as much priority as the "by the book" advice. So, follow your heart, and just keep an extra close eye on her in case she does go into heat before you feel the time is right for spaying.

Best to you both and huge hugs for loving that girl as much as you do! I am so glad she came through with flying colors!

Thanks for the advice, you are absolutely right. I need to follow my instincts. I will just do what I feel is right. I'm pretty good at making the right decisions, and I really don't feel that now is the time. I'm so sorry to hear about your little one.

Aw Shauna, I'm so sorry you n Missy have had to go through so much already. I read this whole thread hoping she was home safe by now and I sure am happy to read that she is. I too would wait on the spay. No hurry, she'll be fine. I know you're a great momma to Missy so just take it easy and love each other bunches. No more troubles from here on out!

It's great to hear little Missy is home and recovering. I know you enjoyed those kisses. Sounds like she was really glad to see her mommy. I hope she gets better everyday - know you are feeling better!

OMG, I don't know how I missed this thread! Shaunna, I'm so glad Missy is home and doing better. I just wanted to tell you to follow your heart about spaying her. I've always tried to listen when I have those 'bad feelings' and I've never regretted it when I did. She's too precious to take a chance with her now. As always, give that sweet little face bunches of kisses for me!
