She is an absolute beauty. I have a question do red yorkies go through all the color changes the standards do? Sorry am new to all this lol but would love to know.

I've heard of that, the red and chocolate with the red/chocholate nose... my girl has a black nose though... so??

Well, thought you might want to know that Red's preggers, We got her two weeks ago, and she's about 7-8 weeks preggers now, so puppies coming SOON!!

The reason I got from the owners as to why they rehomed her was that she couldn't get pregnant...

i have a chocolate/red yorkie also. he is a rescue. do you believe breeders use to drown these dogs so it would not infect their blood line? they are beautiful.

Cull is the word used, and if your talking about fish, many breeders do kill the fish that aren't the colors they want. Perhaps in the past, even dog breeder killed the dog, but cull also means, that you "cull" them from your breeding program. In other words you just don't breed them. In the past, neutering wasn't available, so maybe that's why they killed some, but I certainly hope breeders are no longer killing puppies, it wouldn't make sense, since these off-colors are sold for more money by many breeders. I'm not in favor of breeders breeding to produce more variety though. I think they should breed to standard, even though some of the other colors are beautiful.
