| Dog Agression! While Kimchee is a cute little lovebug to people, as soon as he sees another dog on the street, he turns into 4 pounds of pure fury! I'm perplexed as to why he is so barky and aggressive whenever we encounter another dog on the street, especially because he has a brother (another yorkie), he goes to doggie daycare with a bunch of other dogs, and he has never been attacked by a dog! I think he is just a little insecure Does anyone have any tips for getting his aggression under control? It's gotten to the point where I dread seeing other dogs on our walks! Thanks. |

| I think it is actually the opposite of being insecure- he thinks he is in charge and thus- he needs to protect you from these other dogs- Layla did this- was a SWEETHEART- went to day care- fine fine fine- but when it came to her and myself- with other dogs- there were issues- Now- she knows I am in charge- I am alpha and I don't need to be protected... you should try: Nothing in Life is Free Gaining control of your dog humanely it worked really well for us- now Layla wants to go say hi- she still has a bit of fear agression- if another dog is TOO eager to say hi and is in her face she can snap- but our behaviorist told us that is just beacuse of her size- but we are working on it |

YT 1000 Club Member | I saw this on the dog whisperer or one of those shows. Everytime the dog would start this they'd turn around immediately and walk a little ways in the opposite direction. It might help if you had someone to practice this with another dog. Then turn back towards them and start walking again. I guess you keep doing this untill they stop. Not sure how it would really work but that's what I saw them do. Good Luck! |

| Thanks for the suggestions, I will give them all a try! LOL because Kimchee definitely thinks he's the boss, maybe he is trying to protect me in his own little way. |
