				   | As some of you may know,,, I have been a busy gal this last weekend. I havent been on much at all to tell you whats been going on. It starts Thursday,,,,, I get a call from my sister who I can't hardly understand because she is crying. My mom got into a car addident on the way home from the doctor. My sister was 9 months pregnant. So they rushed her to the hospital. Turns out she and the baby are fine. Saturday,,,,,,, My son's birthday. I had 17 boys here swimming and eatting all day. They kept me busy ALL DAY! Sunday, My sister is having the baby (C-sec),,,,, (Which I shared the news about the baby last night when I got home),,,,,, http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16656 So my mom and I go to luch and come back to find my sister in pain and totally out of it. So we decide to stay with her to help her out with the baby. Monday, I go back to the hospital because she is still not able to hold the baby without pain. I get there and she's trying to nurse the baby and needed help. So I'm there all day with her. By the time I left she was able to hold the baby by herself with no problems. Needless to say my poor Gus had been at home all weekend without me. When I got home he peed on all over because he was so excited to see me. Today I get up and he's on me like glue. (moreso then usual) But he wont eat. His tummy is growling but he wont eat. I had to get his food and feed him with a spoon on my lap. That was the only way he would take it. Has anyones furbaby done this? Did he miss me that much? I feel so bad that I had to leave him, but I really couldn't take him. My husband said he didn't want to play at all and just sat around and would run to the door with every little noise. How long is he going to be acting like this? My husband tells me I have him too spoiled but to me there is no such thing when it come to my Gus. I just wish he wouldn't get so upset when I have to leave him!

				   | It's been about an hour since I posted this tread,,, and Gus is having no problem playing with our neighbors puppy. He will look over at me every so often to make sure I'm there but at least he's not stuck to me.

| Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | OMG I'm so glad your mom and sister are ok !! That's very scary .... I can tell you from recent experience - When I was gone a week - My girls WAITED by the door for 5....yes...FIVE days. They would eat - then go back to the door. The day before I came back to Houston my husband said they were finally sleeping on the couch etc...but it took that long for them to relax and not be waiting by the door. They still won't ever let me out of their site and it's been 3 weeks since my sons wedding. It could be that he's just SO happy to see you that he can't eat but I would roll some food on the floor to see if he plays with it - sometimes they'll eat it if its a game - Poor guy - isn't is nice to be loved sooooooooooo much though ? I hope he starts eating soon though ! |

				   | It's probably anxiety and stress from that anxiety may have gotten his little stomach upset. He's afraid you will leave him again. Don't forget that you are his whole little world.

				   | My boyfriend says that when I leave Cruz just mopes around the house crying and whimpering. Lacy just goes into her cage and lays there. that's very unusual for Lacy, she's usually running around the house playing and loving everyone. I think it's so cute how they get attached. My boyfriend thinks I'm crazy sometimes because I treat them like children. they are my children and I love them soooo much! |

It doesn't take long for the to become part of the family as it should be. I can't imagine my life without my dogs or my children.

				   | I am so happy to hear that everyone is ok. Congratulations on your niece! Matise gets like that. Sometimes after just a normal day(us going to work) nothing out of the ordinary he won't eat and I will have to hand feed him little piece by piece. I don't know why? I just try to reassure him as much as I can. I don't know why these little guys do this..??

				   | After the weekend I tell Huey on Monday morning that I have to work and he refuses to eat. This morning he peed on the carpet just to show me he did not want me to do. When I got back from work today, I took him out for a walk and every couple of steps he kept looking back at me to see that I was there. He does not like it when I am not there and I let him know when I am going to be gone. It is an everyday routine for us. |

				   | My girl is like that if I'm gone. She won't eat for anyone else, or play with anyone. Luckily, I've only had to leave her for one night a couple of times. It's so sad, for both of us.
