| No, I do not think that you are acting silly. I think you are acting like a responsible pet owner. You are thinking about your dog's safety and wellbeing. I get nervous sometimes when a big dog or stray approaches me when I am walking my dog. I do not want my dog to be attacked or sick by meeting dogs I never met before. In the past, I had dogs try to fight my dog on doggie walks. I had to pick up my dog to make the confrontations end. |
