♥ Mama's Boy ♥ Donating Member | Portrait Ideas?!?! I am not sure if this is where this goes or not but...It is that time of year for us to have profeesional protraits taken with me, my boyfriend, and Tobie. I know what we are all going to where but I have no idea on what poses to do with Tobie, so if anyone of you have any great ideas or have pictures to show me, that would be great! Thank you

Hmm....Can you have him sit in between you, or holding him, or laying down in front of you!? do you do casual or serious pictures?

| ok, well if you do it outside, try to use the scenary as a focus point, like trees, grass, anything? if there is a rock, have him sit on it!? My roomie did great things with the newfoundlands, pit, and other mixed, she put hats on them, made them hold things, it was pretty cool.....

| Where are you going? In a studio, a park, your home? If outdoors, I like to take advantage of any natural things around, like a tree with a low branch or a bridge. Here are some that I took of my sister. shhhh! Don't tell her I posted these, she'll kill me. LOL!! How about something like your BF lays on the ground, you sit, straddled on his back and Tobie is on BF backs in front of you and the picture is taken head on. So that it sort of looks like a totem poll. BF's head, then Tobies a little higher up, then yours above Tobies. Whatever you decide, please post them afterwards. I always love to see portraits.

| staring at each other? My breeder showed me some pics of her past pups and one of the ladies was sitting staring into the little girls eyes and the little girl was sitting staring right back into her eyes. Christin actually named the picture. Beauty in the eye of the beholder. Thought that was super cute =) |

| Since your going to a pro they will know how to pose shots so they will have ideas already. I also encourage people to look around and bring in examples of shots that they love. Do a google search on pet photography. You will find examples of shots and see if you can find examples that you fall in love with. You can print those out and take them with you to show your photographer so they can get an idea of poses that you would like to have done. Look at your photographers website and see what examples they have of images they have created and pick from those as well.

| you could do a shot with the pup in the middle getting kisses from both of you. or one of you and your boyfriend walking hand in hand with the pup walking next to you (either walking away or toward the camera) or maybe one of the pup running toward you with your arms out. I also think a google search will give you some good ideas I can't wait to see what they turn out to be! |
