Donating YT 1000 Club Member | Be careful if you go look at the dog take another adult with you. It could be they got the dog then lost their job or had a change in heart about having a pet.

| I would never buy a dog from a newspaper ad. You don't know a thing about the parents or what this little one's background is , you could be setting yourself up for vet bills galore! I would advise anyone to never buy a pup from a newspaper ad. |

| I don't have a problem buying from a newspaper ad, if I was wanting a yorkie mix. There are people that have had problems with their dogs when buying from a so called "reputable' breeder also |

| I look at this as saving a puppy. For some reason mixed yorkie breeds seem to be very popular. Hope it gets a good home.

| Yorkie mixes are very popular, and I love morkies, etc. But, I'm wanting another biewer to breed, so there was no sense in me even calling about it, unless it was to get it and then give it to someone on here, but, I'm sure it's gone by now anyway. I looked at the ad again and it said it was put in the paper the 15th. A free yorkie mix would go fast |

| I saw one recently on Craigs List near where I live for a pure bred Yorkie Pup, and thought it was not real, until a week later there was a thank you response from the sender to all the reponders of the ad who wanted the puppy. That hardly ever happens for real, on CL. It surprised me.

| Well, if the little one needs a good home, why not give him/her a good home. After all, you're not buying the dog, and the money you are saving could be used for vet bills if the dog does need any vet attention. |

Reputable breeders do their best to improve their lines everyday and that means genetic testing to produce the best chance at having a sound healthy puppy. Another reason is when you buy from a pet store or even from someone who bought from a pet-store or BYB you are only continuing to support suffering, simple. Did you ever see how the parents are treated? No light, no human contact less food and crammed into a cage that they can't even stand up in. Thats just my look on this for me, I would never buy a puppy where I didn't know the lines and have a guarantee of overall good health. Just my opinion. | |
