| Yorkies differ greatly, so it's hard to say. The "standard" is 4-7 pounds, I believe. But I have a perfectly healthy boy at nearly 10 pounds at 5 months old. I've seen some breeders photos who place their pups next to Coca-Cola cans, etc for comparison to size.

| 4-7 lbs you are ok. Any smaller you may run into health issues. Any larger, well just more Yorkie to love....smile...Welcome to YT...... |

YT 2000 Club Member | tucker at almost 6 months is 7 inches tall and 5 pounds, but hes not full yorkie. ive seen some really small yorkies and some pretty big ones, so it really does vary.

| Layla is 6.4 lbs and here she is next to some ordinary things....I'd say if she stood up on this trolly- her back would be even with the suitcase that is on its side behind her. |

| They vary quite a bit. One of ours is right around maybe a little under 2lbs. She is a TINY thing. Our other is just at maybe a few Ozs over 7lbs. 7lbs is still a small dog, but the tiny one can make him seem huge sometimes I'm not sure how tall they are though

| Laddy is 2lbs 7 oz at 5 months old they told us he would be 5 to 6 lbs but doesnt look like he is going to make it. He has been healthy though. |

| I have 4 yorkies. Tia is about 19 pounds (7 pound mom and 5 pound dad??? go figure), Cooper is 6.6 pounds, Oliver is 9.8 pounds and our new baby, Abbi is 5 months old and 1.4 pounds. Quite a spread! Michele :-) |
