| OMG!! This is unbelievable - they'd better not get away with this! This is a link that was in our local newspaper - these poor dogs... How can anyone do this and how can they have "another chance the reclaim them" even if they do pay for the vet costs?? I'm completely outraged!!! Starving, disease-riddled dogs rescued

| The article says they won't be able to reclaim them if charges are filed, and I'm sure charges will be filed! Those poor dogs. Hadn't eaten in 2 days or "significantly longer." Um, yeah. It was a lot more than 2 days!!

| The last paragraph says: "Charging them with cruelty and neglect under the Criminal Code is one possibility, she said. There is also the new provincial act, which lists offences for allowing animals to be in distress and not providing a standard of care. Coulter said the maximum penalties for that includes two years in jail, a $60,000 fine and a lifetime ban on animal ownership." I hope they use that maximum penalty. Those poor animals! That's beyond heartless, that is evil.

YT Addict | That gave me goose bumps. THERE IS NO WAY THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO RECLAIM THESE DOGS! That is crazy! So they are nursed back to health (if they can be nursed back to health) and the owners might have a chance to do it all over again! WOW! |
