Also, if you or your bf are going to pay money for a hotel, why can't you pay money for an overnight at a resort for your furbaby - there are some amazing pet hotels/resorts where she will be pampered and loved

![]() Just kidding. I am normally a stickler for the rules too, but I don't see any harm in taking Missy places with me when she is concealed in a carrier and does not bark. You can use the argument that some people are allergic to dogs etc. but seeing eye dogs are allowed EVERYWHERE. I realize they are an exception to the rule because they help blind people, but if a dog is going to be concealed at all times then I don't see what the issue is. This "little miss rule follower" is renting a "no pets" home with a pug and a Yorkie. I guess that I feel it's OK to bend the rules for my girls because I consider them my babies. And in all honestly, they behave better than my skin kids! ![]() So yeah, that's why I want to sneak. Don't judge. To each his own right?

| this whole issue would make me seriously get a furbaby sitter in place so I could go and responsibly leave my baby behind. Good luck to you and your cute little furbaby. |

| I have a Vera Bradley bag, look at Chance's pictures, she loves hers. She even takes naps in it during the day. I believe it is the Miller style Vera Bradley |

| It amazes me how many are suggesting with much emphasis to blatantly break the rules the hotel has in place! I dont care how much your dog means to you, it doesn't mean a thing to the next person to stay in the room after you! The hotels have those rules for a reason: to protect their business, and our health being the main one. Come on people, have some couth! Personally, I wouldn't leave Dixie alone for that length of time. Thats why I made a suggestion to have someone pop in and let the dog out. Some posters have just been crazy with their suggestions. |

| well..I choose not to ever board them at the kennels because i don't trust any of the kennels no matter what. My babies mean so much more. It's not because i can't afford it. We always make sure that the hotels that we stay are the ones that allow pets. But if you go to such places as Vegas, it's hard to find. I took my baby there because we were getting married in vegas and I wanted her to be there for our wedding. We were staying at Venetian and it doesn't allow pet. But for $800 a night that we are paying, i think it's okay to bend the rules. Plus, she is only3.5lb and fully potty trained on the pad and never made a mess. We took her with us everywhere and didn't leave her in the hotel alone. so those of you that think people don't choose to board their pet because they don't want to spend the money, you guys are wrong. Some just choose not to.

| I'm dog sitting the 27-30 for a friend. She has doggie doors, so, I go over one time a day to check on them, check their water, food etc. They leave a light on for them. Just go have fun. She will be more comfortable left at home than in a hotel(new surroundings). They don't know time like we do, so, she'll think you're just working over time that day. |

| I think everyone has their own views and our pets are all unique with unique needs. I have left my four overnight, but my mom, who lives nearby, comes over 2-3 times a day to let them out and play with them a while. They could use the pads, but I don't think mine could go that long without the attention, even though they have each other. They are nicely spoiled. I would not leave a young one. I have used Wee Tuck'em Inn, a luxury boarding place near us for two of them when they were younger. You would be amazed. I got the "kids" a window room, with a toddler bed. I am attaching a pic of the room where they stayed (that is not my dog though). They also had rooms with a TV, and other amenities. LOL! They really pamper them with extra attention there, take them on at least 6 outside walks a day and will groom them during their stay if you like. I am sure you could find something similar near you. Just be careful and visit unannounced before you need them. Also make sure they have had all their shots, including the Bordatello and coronavirus, if you board.
