| Hi :) New Owner of A Yorkie! Hi Everyone, I just recently purchased a Yorkshire terrier puppy with my boyfriend on Sunday. We have been searching around for one, but this little baby melted our hearts. He's 10 weeks old and about 2lbs, how much do you think he'll weigh when he's full grown? Anyway, I've been reading on here a lot and you guys have a lot of helpful information and tips. I'm looking forward to being apart of this community. I'll post a picture of Ninja when I'm home . -Kim and Ninja |

| Welcome to YT Kim! Glad to have you here. There is a size chart somewhere on YT or someone wih more experience can hopefully answer your question (I adopted mine as adults - so I wasn't worrying about growth charts) Can't wait to see pictures of your little Ninja! What a great terrier name

| Hi Kim and Ninja! Love the name, we considered it for Yogi, however, it was abundantly clear he is so not stealthy. He is perfectly named, a big cuddly bear. Would love to see pictures of your guy, please post some when you can.

| Welcome to YT & congratulations. According to the growth chart, Yorkshire Terrier - Yorkie Puppy Growth/Weight Chart - watch us grow his adult weight should be a nice 5 pounds.

| Thank you everyone for the warm welcome , you guys are all so friendly. Ninja has been peeing on his wee wee pad and it's only been a day! he still likes to poop on the floor though but he's half way there. For my other dog it took her about a month to learn how to use the wee wee pad, he's a quick learner that's for sure!. |

| Welcome Welcome to the site...I found this site to be major friendly too! Funny how our little babies are all different, as mine has NEVER pooped on the floor, only the puddle pad...The tinkles go somewhere "near" the pads lol...This site has been so helpful, to me, and the peeps are the best! |

| Welcome to you and Ninja. As for growth, most times the males are smaller that the females. He may be anywhere from 5 to 7 pounds. My Razael was 1lb. 11oz. at 14 weeks, and is now (as of last month) 5lbs. 13oz. at 18 months. I truly don't think there is any rule of thumb.
