Me too Mary, Don't take any chances with the kid. Stake out the house and when you see an adult go in wait a couple of minutes then knock on the door with flyer in hand and ask if they have seen you pet. Your are getting worried because he needs medication and may die. (God forbid) but you gotta do what you gotta do. This might scare them if they think they will be spending money on a sick dog. Good luck Mary. I will continue to pray for Yoshi. |
Awww I hope and pray you get your yoshi back soon!! I bet he isnt even the same yoshi because he doesnt have you. My grandparents lost their silky terrier about 9 years ago, she liked to chase cats and she got out one day and ran after a cat and she was to fast for my g-pa to find her..a neighbor told them they saw her at this ladies house and they tried and tried to get her back but couldnt. Misty also didnt grow in all her teeth so my gpa would make her chicken and rice and veggies every night, and feed her ice cream  she was VERY spoiled. The lady lied and said she didnt have her anymore that she gave her to a friend or something she said that dog wasnt taken care of and all matted!! Which was out of this world to hear because my g-pa spoiled that dog like he spoiled his grankids. Mitzy had a full coat and my grandpa brushed her everyday!!!...well my g-pa ended up having a heart attack over her. Its very sad, I dont know how some people can keep another person's dog. Its not only the person that suffers from it, its the furbaby as well... It makes me very sad. Maybe you can go to the house you think yoshi is and talk to someone at the front door....If he hears your voice or someone that he knows he will come running to the door!! I would FOR SURE watch that house like a hawk....You will get your yoshi back!!!:D |
I agree with everyone. It is very important to get an adult in that house involved. Maybe even scare them, tell them that you have the police involved because anyone who is holding him will be prosecuted for theft. Sometimes a little white lie can get things moving and you did contact the police so it is not totally a lie. With the police, I would be insistent that these people have stolen your dog and contacted you but later changed their story. My thoughts and prayers are with you. |
hello! i just wanted you to know that you are in my prayers and i hope your littleman is found safe and sound! when i was a teenager my mother lost our pomeranian we posted flyers everywhere but no luck and then three weeks later a lady called us telling us that she thought our dog was living in the woods behind her house and she had been leaving food out for him! but he didnt go to anyone so my mom went there and called his name for 2 hours and he finally came running out of the woods.he was also found in another town so he definitly traveled,he was matted and infested but he survived and he is now 18! so just always know that miracles happen! and i hope you get your miracle!good luck! |
Prayers are coming your way. |
The more posters & postcard with pictures you put out the better!! Someone will eventually see it and think "hey, that looks like the dog in the picture!!" My cousin had a little pug that escaped in West Hollywood!! Hollywood of ALL places! She had just about given up when A MONTH LATER, she got a call from someone who had seen her baby! She took her BIG dad and went to the location and had the police (LA police also!!), and they got her baby back :D They could not provide proof of ownership and my cousin did. JUST DON'T GIVE UP!!! In the other thread, someone mentioned Vistaprint.com where you can make postcards/flyers and I think you get the first 100 for free. It's a great website! You should definitely check that out, because that other site you mentioned is a rip-off!! **If you want, I can make some postcards for you on the website and gather a bunch of local Witchita addresses, and mail them out for you?? I know you're SO busy, so I would LOVE to help. PM me if you want me to do this. I honestly don't mind one bit! I would be happy to do it. I know how you feel about asking for help, but I'm telling you, I would be so happy to help you in anyway I can. ;) ** |

I wish we heard from Mary, or did I just miss it? Now it seems they are both MIA, her and the dog. I would put up fliers etc for a mile or so around this girls house too. You don't want to put all your eggs in one basket. She may just be mean and not really have the dog, someone else close by may have Yoshi. If there is a park, etc close that someone could walk the dog at I'd target that area too. The vet I used to work for was also the inpound for strays, see if there is one of those close by too. Ask if they had a Yorkie brought in recently. |
I was wondering the same thing. What's going on? Update? Still praying for Yoshi's safe and speedy return. |
Checking for an update. Finger's crossed for you Mary that your working on leads. Hugs, |
Im checking on updates too.. keeping my fingers crossed..((hugs)) |
I keep checking for updates too. Time to light another candle... |
Did anything happen when the YT's policeman husband (from out-of-state) got involved? Sorry if this has already been reported but I've searched and can't find anything updating that scenario. I read about it on the other thread but have never seen mention of "what happened after" anywhere. Sometimes I feel like I get emotionally invested in these stories and never hear the outcome. I try to search to discover the ending but still have problems locating the newest info. Has anyone heard lately from tihs poster and has Yoshi been found? Thanks in advance for your response. |
It looks like mary posted yesterday on another thread, but from what was said, yoshi is still missing. |
