| What size Dog Door I posted this on the Training forum.. but thought I would try here too . For those of you that use a dog door.. what size do you have? I looked at Pets Mart and the small looks really small..but it says up to 15 lbs. Dexter is 4 months old and weighs 5 lbs .. so I'm not sure how big he is going to get.. I want to make sure I am getting the right size door. Thanks |

| Sorry, I'll be of little help as we don't have a doggie door. But just wanted to point out that perhaps "a little too big" is better then too small. Point in case, the attached picture.

| Dog door I bought the medium size for my 8lb. Yorkie. The size seems perfect for her. One thing I did was teach the dog to go through the door before you put the plastic flap on, once she went thru the door on her own then I added the plastic door. I built an insert for our patio door and cut the opening for the dog door in that and the patio door closes against the insert; it worked great for our cold midwest winters. |
