This "old woman" believes things happen for a reason.

And yes, this group is really full of the most loving people. But, we are all owned by Yorkies, so that's not surprising.

AWWW I hope it all works out. see the same thing happened to us. we now have this little yorkie mix that I know Minnie sent to us, we wasnt looking for another yet here she is and I have to say even thou im down sick with the flu, she keeps me laughing. shes a silly little girl.

Nah, it's not sounding real good right now. Haven't heard anything from the owner. Plus, I found out the dog is in Washington. They indicated that they'd pay travel expenses for the right home, but I just don't see why they'd do that. I'm sure they could find a good home in Washington.

So, I'm far less optimistic than I was yesterday.

Hey Mike I saw this link on Yoshi's please pray thread. this little boy only has one day to live. was thinking maybe someone in that area can pull him out if its not to late and work out something to get him to you if the other dont work out.if its not already to late.

I wish there was a way we could all contact the owner and tell them how much this dog would be loved. The choice would be so easy. They could probably find a "good" home in WA, but a GREAT home would be with you, Kelly, Eddie and Rusty.

Well, even if it doesn't work out, there are always going to be little dogs needing homes. You'll get a new brother or sister for Eddie and Rusty when the time is right.

Phooey! I was all ready to read your post about the little guy being on the way to you in a few days.

Well, we'll just have to be patient for awhile. Maybe he will come after all or maybe there's another furkid out there who needs you even more. Let's just see what happens.

Oh, thank goodness! That one was breaking my heart, because I didn't want to get one that far away. I think I'm going to keep searching in AK.

And, Amanda, no I hadn't seen that one. Cute little girl. I'm hoping for more of a rescue situation. That looks more like just a pup for sale.

Thanks, everybody, for pulling for us.

I have good news and bad. The good news is for the dog. One of the women in the family has decided to keep him. I'm delighted. That's a far better solution than shipping him to a stranger.

The bad news is for us, but we have plenty of time to find the right fit.

I've been checking out the links posted and haven't found anything that looks like what I'm looking for. I'd prefer a young female rescue in Alaska. I'm willing to wait for the best fit.

Sorry for all the hoopla! Next time, I'll wait until I get a little closer to reality before creating a stir!
