| how many yorkies have there own room? We just finished our spare bedroom for the for the dogs and I was thinking how spoiled they are. There kennels are all in there, we put down laminate flooring in case of accidents, and there is a futon in there with steps for them to sleep on. Is anyone else as crazy as be and my DH? |

| I wasn't getting any replies there for a minute. I was starting to think that I was insane for doing that. We didn't use the spare room so I just thought that it would be better for them so they didn't have to be kenneled when we were'nt home. We have four and three of the four love it the other one thinks she owns the house so one little room for her isn't good enough. |

| that is funny you should post this because I was just talking last night about doing that to one of the rooms in our home. My middle daughter will be moving out sometime this summer (she'll finish her nursing program and will be out a few months after that). I told DH I wanted to make her room into the yorkie room, I wanted to decorate it and everything. He hasn't said yes but more importantly he hasn't said no either.

| I haven't really started to decorate it yet, just white walls so far. I'm not sure what to do as far as really decorating, because it's not like I can put things in the room cuz they will chew it up. Maybe just pictures. I'm not sure yet. |

| I just finished decorating my "yorkie" room last weekend but it's really a whole "Yorkie wing"! It's formerly the In-law suit we built for my mom after my dad passed 12 years ago. Shortly after Mom moved in, she found the most wonderful man, they were married 18 months later and built a home of their own. So now her part of the house is my yorkie room where 7 of my kids spend their time. When I'm home my pups have the run of the rooms, but if I'm at work or it's bedtime, some are put in the 3' x 6' runs, just to keep the peace. The kitchen area can also be closed off as my whelping and nursery area. I found that the light colored walls seemed to get dirty easily so I painted most of the lower section of the walls with a dark color.

BANNED! | Your NOT crazy at all. I recently bought a new 4 bdrm house and I set up a room just for my puppies. I still have to do some decorating on the walls and stuff but I took out the carpet and put down a better floor for them and cleaning. |
