I just finished decorating my "yorkie" room last weekend but it's really a whole "Yorkie wing"! It's formerly the In-law suit we built for my mom after my dad passed 12 years ago. Shortly after Mom moved in, she found the most wonderful man, they were married 18 months later and built a home of their own. So now her part of the house is my yorkie room where 7 of my kids spend their time. When I'm home my pups have the run of the rooms, but if I'm at work or it's bedtime, some are put in the 3' x 6' runs, just to keep the peace. The kitchen area can also be closed off as my whelping and nursery area. I found that the light colored walls seemed to get dirty easily so I painted most of the lower section of the walls with a dark color. |
