I was told many years ago by a "Yorkie Owner" that they can memorize up to 250 words. All 3 of mine understand; English, Filipino, Spanish and Japanese as well as Hand & Sound signals/commands. They seem to understand anything and everything. Artie likes to Surf and float around on an Air Mattress in the middle of the Ocean. Abigayle rides a Motorcycle w/o being strapped on/in with "Doggles" on and Pom Pom understands Letters like D-O-GG-I-E, K-I-TT-Y C-A-T and B-O-N-E. They know where their Treats are and what time they get one. They read me like a Book! I think all Yorkies have Special Talents and are very smart. Thank God they can't Talk!
