Brody was 10 weeks old and Rhianna was 6 months old.

I brought both of my babies home when they were 12 weeks old. It just so happened that I found my Stedman when he was 12 weeks old, so he was ready to go, but I had to wait 2 weeks to bring Tatum home as I found her when she was 10 weeks and her breeder does not let her puppies go until they are 12 weeks of age.

I personally wouldn't bring home a Yorkie that was under 12 weeks old, and I feel that good breeders wouldn't let them go home any earlier to begin with.

I got Bentley at exactly 10 weeks. I knew he was 10 weeks old when i went to see him but I didnt know i was taking him home that day. It was a really long drive to go see him and once we got there she said i could take him home that day. He has had no issues and am very happy we got to take him home when we did!

I got Dolly when she was already 8 month old. she was one of her breeder's show prospects, but didn't grow to be big enough. she was already potty trained and everything, it was nice that I didn't have to deal with a young puppy, but I certainly missed out on so much fun of her puppyhood!

We got Puddin' at six weeks. That is pretty much the standard age here...as it used to be in the States.

I went to visit the breeder's house when Pao was 12 weeks not knowing I can bring him home that night and we didn't want to decide right away but we did lol. He was the biggest of a litter of 4 and breeder told me no one wanted him because of his size (he was 5lbs) and all his brothers and sisters went to their new owners already. I remember he was very sweet natured and extraordinarily calm for a puppy and he was very sleepy since it was 11pm when we reached their house. When we left with him in my arms, he looked at the breeder and let out a small cry wanting to go back in-that was so cute and I will remember that forever-he knew he was leaving at 12 weeks old, that was a wow. We thought it would be better to go back the next day to get him but the breeder asked us to take him that night since he was already 12 weeks old. All I could say is he was pretty well-adjusted, he knew where the peepad is from the first night he was with us and pretty much adapted easily to our family lol. I think puppies do learn a lot from their mom and siblings and to give them an opportunity to learn is good for them. My sister had a puppy that left mom too early and she didn't quite behave like normal dogs..and she bites people hands a lot..she is trained now but it took quite a while to train her.

Edited to add: We loved him as soon as we saw him although he was a little apprehensive about us lol. He was bigger than most Yorkies but for me, he iss small enough and a good size.

Jackson was 9 weeks but he was on the bigger side and did absolutely fine.

I have brought home yorkies and biewers...anywhere from 8 weeks to 16 weeks.

Gracie was 12 weeks old when I got her!!!

she was my little angel!!! I had put a down payment on her before I found this site... and I think I lucked out... I got her from a breeder in Texas but she had a friend that lives here and was helping her sell them... I remember waiting and waiting... it was the hardest thing that I have ever done so far... but it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!

I picked Piper out at 6 weeks but I didn't bring her home until she was 9 weeks old. It was the longest 3 weeks of my life.

I got Alex at 6 week weighing 1.9 pounds he is now 8 week weighing 2.5 pounds. He is a happy healthy little boy.

I'd been looking all over for a Yorkie and found my cute Lil Bryan on line from a breeder n Oklahoma....when I saw that lil teddy bear face and he had 1 ear up and 1 down and wasn't quite looking in the camera I san he's the one...only problem he was only 10 weeks old..well she made me wait a whole week and I picked him up from the airport and it was love at first site... So to answer I got him at 11 weeks and he's a good little boy

I got Jack 12-wks and Bella 8-wks. No probleums with either one of the both healthy as a horse.
