| Shampoo suggestion for cotton coat I was looking for a suggestion on shampoo and conditioner for a cotton coat. Harley has a cotton coat and I am trying to find a new shampoo and conditioner that will possibly help with matting. I am very sensitive to smells and do not think that I could handle the smell of minksheen. I live in a rural area without any speciality shops around, so I would like it to be something that is easily ordered online. Thank you so much for any help! Jeri and Harley |

| Not sure about difference in coats as I am a new yorkie owner but Laddy's fur does great with ProPet 4in1 shampoo and while he is wet we spray him with Miracle Coat which eleminates any tangles and mats and doesn't seem to leave an odor on him. Also gives his coat a beautiful shine. |

| I have recently switched from Minksheen shampoo to Harry Barker's Shea Butter shampoo/conditioner. I love minksheen but I don't think it's good for a cottony coat, Bud's is silky. You might like to try the Shea Butter. I do like it better than Minksheen. Go on the site and see if they offer samples. I would guess it's Harry Barker Official site sorry can't remember but that should do it. |

| For those who don't have a specialty store the Pantene Pro-V Shampoo and Conditioner in one is good. Just dilute it and shampoo-rinse-repeat. Johnson No More Tangles in the tube worked into the coat while damp will help control the matting. Use a squirt bottle (like a condiment bottle) to apply the shampoo/conditioner product to the coat and keep it off of the skin. This will let you bathe more often without itchies.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I agree, Pantene Ice Shine conditioner! It works wonders! Love the smell too! I use minksheen shampoo and pantene ice shine conditioner! Nolee's coat is wirey and this makes it soft and smell awesome!
