Not sure about difference in coats as I am a new yorkie owner but Laddy's fur does great with ProPet 4in1 shampoo and while he is wet we spray him with Miracle Coat which eleminates any tangles and mats and doesn't seem to leave an odor on him. Also gives his coat a beautiful shine.
